Re: Ford V Gloucester...Yes or No?
He brings other dimensions to the tigers play, his chip over the top, kicks to the corners and his cross field kicking, stuff we haven't seen since Andy Goode was pulling the strings. Look at Billy, forced to play against the Ospreys in the HKN & held his own. I think he needs to be given his ch...

Niall Morris try scoring injury ???
Does anyone know how Niall Morris is after his try in Saturday??
...it was a great try, excellent vision from Ford, perfectly weighted kick and there were Niall and Steve Mafi waiting for it, but i'm guessing Niall landed awkwardly when dotting the ball down.
I hope its not too serious

Re: Terrace rammed again
The terrace always used to be like that when we were a sell out at 17,000 but hasnt been for a couple of seaons now with the CAT stand. i guess the 'Shed' fans from Glos will have preferred to stand rather than sit thus bumping up the numbers on the terrace, there did seem to be a lot of them there ...

Re: Could be good news on the kit front - for most!
The grey kit was new this season, but the Home shirt is due to be replaced at the end of the year.
The kits normally do x2 seasons and then get replaced, but they cleverly overlap so i guess you can buy a new one each year should you wish.

Re: Chuter and Cockerill in the Mercury
Were doing well with x2 back row players at Second Row, both Mafi & Slater are back row converts and both under 21 years of age. Parling was a key part of the success last season & Skivington & Deaks have been big players this season so far. When will we have a fully fit sqaud when we ne...

Re: 12T on Saturday?
i think Billy is very solid in defense, he makes lots of good tackles at 12, after all he is 6'3" and 15 stone, so he has some power to play with !! They played well for the Saxons together Manu & Billy, the only thing was that Billy may have looked for him a little too much possibly. I thi...

Re: Ayerza's hearing is today
i'm going to have to watch the game again as our front row are never normally that agitated by oponents, but The Dan Cole wasnt happy either throughout the game. I certainly think that there must have been some foul play causing our players to react that way !! did i see scratches on 'The Dan Cole's...

Re: Steve Mafi signs 2 years deal with Tigers
I'm quite surprised by this deal tbh. Don't get me wrong Mafi is a great player, but with Parling, Deacon and Skivington ahead of him, along with Slater, Green and more than likely Kitchener he's going to have some tough competition at lock. Unless that is he stays at flanker, but even then with th...

Re: Back Row
When fit and a few games into this season i think that Waldrom & Crane have linked up very well together..... so the decision then is Croft or Newby & i'd have both ! Thats without Maffi who has had a very good season too..... then you overlook - Woods & Piennar. Not a bad position to be...

Re: No call-up for Crofty yet!
i'm very pleased that Croft has stayed with Tigers, i just wish they would send all the other lads home too, i would love our fully fit best 15 against Leinster in the HC!! Is this a case of not needing Croft, not wanting to rush him back or are they scared at the cost implications of him getting in...

Re: Christchurch
Looking at Scotty's Twitter comments he was up at 4am commenting on it all.
I know Newby said he felt helpless over here too.
You just hope that there arent any further fatal aftershocks and that everyone they know is safe & well.
Our thoughts are with everyone involved.

Re: fans
It was a concern i had when the capacity increased and the club were trying their best to fill the stands in the early weeks. It's great when the stadium is full of fans wanting to watch rugby..... Xmas fixture, Saints match etc etc. But when they try and get people in with free tickets and offers i...

Is Newby OK?
I hope Craig Newby is OK after being substituted early on in the game.
He's been having a very good season so far and i think we will need him at this crucial time of the season.
Mafi has played very well too, but Newby is a natural leader on the field.
