Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

It is the thing that had me screaming at the tv the most yesterday! What had me screaming at the tv was the Irish commentator, whoever he was, continually referring to 'Devoto' when he obviously hadn't noticed that it was Devoto's Exeter former team mate who was playing. What channel were you watch...

GF's kicking was poor but for 50 odd minutes he marshalled the best attacking game that England have had for years.

Yes I saw he missed the tackle and that was disappointing …I was merely commenting on how entertaining they are “in possession” I am shocked how heavy Painter has become He’s a heavy citizen isn’t he. Baxter is bigging him up constantly Even Phil Keith-Roach, who knows a thing or two about front ro...

Hence Coley being blamed for the collapse of our scrummaging in 2019. 4 years later and 4 years older and Coley still does the job better than most.

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results

4 excellent games with for me the correct winners in all of them. I went 3 from 4 the only one I got wrong was France…. Semi finals I’m expecting wins for South Africa and New Zealand, which would make for a great final and probably too close to call at the moment…. Well you were 3 better than Stua...

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results

The draw is the draw and how the draw is made is the same for all teams. They earned (or failed to) their rankings at the specified times. Don’t complain if you improved or others fell according to the rules. Ireland lost & Wales lost. How will the Celtic fawning press cope if England go throug...

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results

So they crossed off Chessum’s second try for propelling himself on the ground but completely ignored the lack of arms in the tackle that stopped him. This was a typical Brace level of refereeing, I suppose we are lucky that his sidekick Joy Neville was not the TMO but as we have seen at Tigers Brac...

Re: "Canon Arm" Technique

The other Irish province trick is for a player to arrive late, headlong into the ruck, slightly to one side and then to swing a foot behind the players on the ground, obstructing the SH from picking up the ball and then collapsing on him, facilitating a counter ruck. Surely if you can’t put hands be...

Re: Tigers v Quins (H) - Saturday 06th May 2023 - KO 4-00pm

I sit in the Crumble opposite side to the incident, I and the people around me said immediately that the initial impact had been to the shoulder and had ridden up, this view was confirmed to us when we saw the replay on the big screen, personally I think Tempest saw what he wanted to see his as he ...
