Munster’s Gavin Coombes is out of contract in 2025. Plays 8 or 6 and can cover lock, a bit like Hatherall. Could he be worth it?

Re: Leinster funding

Ideally, if the players are on central contracts, the IRFU should be able to move them to other provinces in order to properly distribute talent and to allow each team the same number of central contracts. It will never happen though. They've produced these players through their monopoly on the priv...

Reckon we've missed a trick by not keeping him. Hopefully he can come back if he continues to impress.

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

My nipper just sent me the full strength Leinster side. Salary cap? Level playing field? It's a sick joke! Well there isn't one in the URC. Leinster's salary spend is allegedly around the 10m Euros mark. More in line with the French clubs. It was around that in 2018-2020. It’ll be a bit more by now...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

We need an 8/6. Why would we let Koroiyadi go?! Especially after we let Chester Owen go from the academy and he looked the more promising ball carrier. We have Carnduff/Manz @6. We have Beets @8. I don't see where Koroiyadi fits anymore. With Wiese off, Cracknell and Rogerson not really fulfilling ...

Bristol. I heard and unsubstantiated rumour that Bristol are after Sam Edwards as well. I've heard Edwards to Bristol as well. Cusick and Koroyoidi possibly to Ealing. We need an 8/6. Why would we let Koroiyadi go?! Especially after we let Chester Owen go from the academy and he looked the more pro...

I reckon Archie van der Flier could cover lock in a pinch. 6'4 and 120kg, obviously normally a loosehead...

Iosefo Masi from Fijian Drua has had a cracking couple of games recently. Could be shrewd signing if we got him before a French club signs him, if one hasn’t already.

What's the situation with Bassett? I can't recall seeing his name in any match squad for a while.

Rumoured that Sharks (of the South African variety) are wanting to buy Esterhuizen out of his Quins contract, to the tune of £500,000.
Matt Gallagher is also apparently off to Benetton from Bath.

Re: 5 Tigers in England U20 squad

Great to see Congratulations all Has anyone looked at legacy planning for the next few years and where these boys could potentially fit in ? Martin moving to lock full time. Carnduff becoming a 6/8. Josh Manz playing 6 or 7 as well. Ilione at 7 and Koroiyadi at 8/6. Reckon we could lose one of Mart...
