Re: Poll - should the forum remain? (no plans to close it!)
Could we now please keep attacks on other users off this thread, and hopefully off the forum? (!) . The fact that this is still such a problem explains why some aren't here anymore. Like others, I now use the unoffy rather than this forum, facebook or twitter - so its a shame this wasn't an option ...

Re: Clermont Auvergne v Leicester
Given our on-going problems at 2 & 9 - both that went to Paris over the summer.
M. Dupuis will be well rested by the time pre-season starts!
Shame that they went & shame that they won't be coming back.

Re: Bar Service all messed up
Just to add some balance to this thread. Halftime against Worcs, I went out back for a quick smoke, wandered into ABC and bought a pint of 'black stuff' (not in 3 secs thankfully) and was back in my place on terrace before the teams came back out. Maybe I was lucky. Maybe some people think they know...

No need to even duck - just stand perfectly still.
None of my ex wives could throw anyway, so safer to stand still.

Re: Drop Goal value
2 points for all kicks isn't a bad shout. But if defences are clearly and illegally killing a try-scoring attempt on the basis that "we may as well suffer the 2 points rather than risk the 7", then that is for the refs to deal with. They have those pretty coloured cards in their pockets ....

Re: Drop Goal value
A reduction to 2 points for a penalty would possibly lead to more penalties and less trys as defences will do almost anything to avoid giving 7 points away. This discussion was done to death 10 years ago when England were 'kicked' out of the World Cup in a Parisean quarter final by some unknown Saff...

Re: Team's up for Sale
Re props With Castro starting at tighthead and Whitey on the bench explains why Cole isn't in the 23 as neither Cole nor White can cover loosehead. Loosehead Ayerza being covered on the bench by Parr because Stankovich is injured. Not sure about Harris. Is he a 1 or a 3? Or is he ambidextrous like C...

Re: Extra Calcutta Cup matches from 2011
:smt018 Just plain daft. 'there will be an extra Calcutta Cup match from 2011 but it will only be the 6N result that decides who wins the cup' So it's not a 'Calcutta Cup' match then, just another excuse to try and sell lots of tickets to anyone who can afford one. So how many internetionals do the ...
