Tiglon wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 2:22 pm In terms of administrative errors, I was referring to the very recent salary cap breach.
My recollection was that it was a difference in interpretation of the rules.

We thought something we excluded and outside the cap but turned out it was inside.

Is there a ref in the whole wide world that meets your standards?
Easy enough sitting & watching on TV.

Makes you wonder where the TMO was...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

The cynic in me says he's got 2 or 3 years to crack it, and if it fails he can come back and still make the next WC. If he gets selected to a training squad he'll be on £170k a year, probably comparable to what he'd get in rugby for being one of the best. If he makes a full team expect that to go up...

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results

Farrell cost us that game by not keeping his cool. Contrast Pollard who won SA the game by keeping his. Indeed, we could have been further ahead at half time! Although I also agree with others about Vunipola and Sinkler (prop who can’t!), Coley was doing superbly! I'm not sure the last penalty. The...

No TMO at all.

Asleep at the wheel for head on head by Kitshoff against Lawes.

And I thought the big hit by Martin that dislodged the ball was a bit chicken wing

Wingers have been great chasing the high ball too, so many tip backs that they have no right making.

Have they got springs in their boots?

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results

Think Aled could win us this game - SA beating NZ by a country mile before the WC suggests they have peaked too early. We maybe peaking at the right time - physically staying with the saffas right now Only 6 points up though and SA havnt even turned up yet. That’s worrying SA haven't been allowed t...

He had a point, but went about it the wrong way. Not a lot of difference with the SA shoving and the Manu hug & cheer

Absolutely done in by the sidestep, framework doesn't account for that.

Shouldn't be more than a yellow but who knows

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results

Gutted for Ireland, been number 1 for so long, beaten everyone on the way to get there.

If England win tomorrow and make it further in the tournament shoes how uneven the draw was.

Not seen Ireland dominated like this in quite a while.

Not seen NZ play like this in potentially even longer.
