Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park
Lots of chat about the province system. Worth noting that it hasn’t really worked in Wales or Scotland but has in Ireland. Once reason for that I guess- fans go to the games in Ireland. Keeping an eye on these "not straight" Tigers throws. I see them straight and perpendicular but is it the common ' hooker one step off the mark?'

156 posts ! ! ?.
We had 14 on the park for 20 mins and won. Job done, end of.
If the game was non-subjective where would we be - no officials to slag and curse, no players to analyse as if we owned them (or could do better) or no 'forum '.

Impressed by last night's efforts. Better than a lot of our 1st 15's efforts in the previous 4/5 'naughty years'.

Re: New Salary Cap Breach?
On this topic string of the strength of the clubs apology surely being a PLC demands a strong and genuine apology/commitment to the share holders and sponsors?

Re: New Salary Cap Breach?
Rugbygramps,
I'm with you let's take it and move on.
I fear we have a big % of the population that want to be everything from voyeurs to extending every issue into a soap opera.
Joys of current communications media, including this forum.
PS Should anyone want to know I had cottage pie for lunch

Re: New Salary Cap Breach?
If I relate the 'offences' and subsequent punishment to playing rules:- The salary manager has gone beyond "just a pen", bent arm and straight arm on-field pens; Issued on-field yellow with consequences (including financial and image damage). Appears current judgement suggests no further a...

Re: New Salary Cap Breach?
Re Chappie's point I'm ignorant on club management and 'regulated duties' but if there is derogation of duty in a PLC of any sort that may effect shareholders, as many of us are where does the former CEO'S suing of the club stand? How about seeking redress for tort of negligence? Yes, club finance r...

Re: "Afters" - Foot on line at throw ins?
I don't know if you're aware but the AR stands next to the hooker at line out and does not use a whistle. He whispers in his ear if needing to correspond to the correct point

Re: "Afters" - Foot on line at throw ins?
12mm on field, continual whistling? Please guys you talk common sense then let's try:- a) Don't do it b) Assistant ref pulls them up before throw, no different to ref directing an offside encroachment . No delay, no short throws (however short), no whistles! Persistent infringers of any rule/law wil...

Re: "Afters"
Re 5m at the line don't forget the hooker throws with vigour to the front and team mate dashes forward inside the 5m corridor. As well have the hooker passing hand to hand.

Re: "Afters"
Are we creeping towards soccer 'ignores' like running throws and ball not on the 'D' for corners?

Re: "Afters"
Re putting in the line - putting in less than 5 is seen to often right under the officials nose.
As for hookers feet - rugby keen on rules/laws so yes if it's in breach ping it!
Big element of winning and losing is not just technical skills and fitness but discipline.
