Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Like the majority I was not too chuffed with last night's performance.
I left with 2 key points;

1- Glos looked/were sharper, and
2- Oh those missed kicks!

The only pos was 2 league points (4 tries & within 7).

Saints beaten, Quins are being thumped; we are not alone in a crowded small league.

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm

Is this just a pre-premiership warm up or a genuine effort for silverware?
The one to count is the prem match.

Same 'offence' against Steward earlier not given. Steward landed on back and received treatment.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Won't argue on your interpretation but if hand putting ball on boot then why did it stay there?
I'm not arguing but trying to get it clear in my mind what use are fixed camera TMO's when the lottery of no angles and blocked views decide the score.
Ref is the ultimate arbitrator!!!

Fair play to young Tuilagi I believe it was his huge arm that got in the way
Does Tuilagi wear boots on his hands?

Well neither does your Trump, he’s a delusional crook. but there you go. My point is which I have a feeling you know, is without delving deeper stats can say anything. As an example how many times does he stand out in midfield and used to run against backs where you would expect him to win collisio...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Sorry to disagree, Russells a liability. You watching Scotland? Yes I am, sory I just cannot learn to love him, he is just one of those players that bug me. I must try harder, but game not over yet I'm still expecting him to do something stupid. Am I to believe you're a Scotland fan with a nervous ...

Re: Alan Dickens - Tigers lack of attack coach.

Pat Howard did come before as a consultant. Geordie did have the skills but too many other responsibilities. Austin does seem to have good insights +1 Geordies club loyalty abused by imposed additional duties and too many journeymen. Austin is a smart guy who knows the game. He's played at the top ...

Re: Tigers v Leinster (H) - Champions Cup - Saturday 20th January 2024 - KO: 3-15pm

Following this debate on to kick or not to kick what about the variation of kick. I see this aerial ping pong as overdone. Sure a high CHASEABLE ball just short of the 22 has potential but if you want to tempt a knocking you're better with a considered hack through/grubber, and not to the normal ba...
