Re: Wasps in the mire - now in administration
Yes the silence has been noted but we here at Tigers take that as 'our norm'. :smt009 I recognise there are secrets kept on being a business against the needs of the customers to know. But to the detriment of those customers?:smt017 A fine analogy but in this case the customers do not even know for...

Re: Head On : Rugby Dementia and Me
Well it is odd that there are no claims on boxing’s authorities that I have heard of. I think why we have heard less about junior rugby is because of the training aspect, and the difference in power. This have only come to light since professionalism .. repeated-sub concussive knocks every day in t...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Saturday 25th March 2023 - KO 12:30pm
I saw that at the time. Pollard just bounces back up on his feet again. If he stayed down to milk it (like many seem to these days unfortunately) the Ref might gave had a look as the camera may have re-run the action. I hope refs start carding people that "milk." This has to be stamped ou...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Saturday 25th March 2023 - KO 12:30pm
Fully in line with my aged thinking and experience. Today the Hooker is only there to stop their props from boring into each other and to score more tries than the backs :smt005 Been many years since I have seen a hooker swing across the gap and take a ball out of the opposition second row. Precise...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Saturday 25th March 2023 - KO 12:30pm
Thing is, the whole hooking situation could be having a knock on effect on the rest of the scrum. We are going back many many years here but in my front row days. the focus was to create a stable platform so as your hooker could make a clean strike at the ball and, on the other side, you were looki...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Saturday 25th March 2023 - KO 12:30pm
Might be just me but if the 9 directs the put in ball to their own locks why can't the opposing 9 step forward in line with those same locks :smt017 . The perpendicular put in to the scrum has been ignored for so long by custom and practice then why not the defending 9 following the ball? Put the p...

Re: Will we finish in the top 4?
Whilst they have an extra game Exeters zero points against Bath looks like their championship hopes are very thin.

33 - 14 @ Bath after 56 mins. Bath already have a bonus.
Erratum
Exeter score so 33 - 19.
One less in the chasing pack?

Thanks Lutontiger.
Good match, great crowd and plenty of familiar faces. Questioning the touchs eyesight and Sir ignoring offsides (thankless task) just like I'd not been away. And back home for liquid medicine after all the Doc keeps telling me to take plenty of liquids

My first time back inside WR after 2 years of shielding. Great lift, it beats the chemo! Good 5 point win against dangerous opponents who always showed their potential to score. Well done for a 23 man performance. As for the top placings Sarries already a Q and with Sale looking a little bit exposed...
