Re: Exeter v Tigers (A) - Premiership - Saturday 21st September 2024 - KO 3-05pm
If we didn't play an "in-house" game last weekend, there might be a few under cooked players in our 23. Let's hope the preparations with time off from the previous game are better than the constant shambles of last season in the same situations. Think there might be some of the younger mem...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2024/25 - Cheika-nother shrimp on the barbie! - Transfers/rumours
There seems to be a heavy loading of blame on the coaches, there were/are some seriously seasoned players in the Tigers squad, who seem to be free of criticism...to me there is a "wiff" of the Lofreda situation about it all. Water under the bridge now & if McKellar doesn't sat any more...

On that basis no games should be played at Twickenham.Tigerbeat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 12:32 pmToo far north.........York is more central to the North East, East and West Yorkshire....Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:34 am Darlington might have been better for a game in the North East, 25k capacity.

It can happen think Lomu, but admittedly very rare, if it's anyone at present it would be Dupont.

Re: 2024 Preseason games
Scarlets a pretty mixed bunch, no main Wales Players selected.
So of our theoretical first XV that could take the field at Sandy Park a handful won't have played a warm up game.
Let's hope the abject performances post a "rest" last season are a thing of the past.

Re: New Rugby Union Partnership in England
Shame the best S&C coach in the world who might have had a better grasp on the best programme is no longer with England. The RFU using the general poor shape of the finances of English Rugby to get the control back they lost when they stuck no fingers in the ears when the game turned professiona...

No Summer "Tourists" involved, beyond Chessum Snr, Youngs & Henderson with known reasons, some other notable absentees on Friday.

Re: Cheika’s style
The players are fully professional, yet the lack of ability to pass properly is worrying (this is game wide, not a specific Tigers point), the players seem to spend more time in the gym than "playing" rugby.

Re: Criticism of referees - especially Wayne Barnes
I think most of us would be more tolerant if there were obvious consequences to poor performances by the officials, or if we get proper feedback about contentious decisions, too often we get the wrong decisions despite the technology.
The officials need to remember the fans haven't paid to watch them.

Bringing him back would be nice, put possibly not the best use of the Salary Cap.
