Re: Worcester (A) 16th October - 3pm

Didn't Hurd go off in Jersey & not seen since. It was blindingly obvious we would miss Big Tomas at scrum time, its the one area our locks let us down, well that & their at times poor discipline. As for Sir at the weekend, never been convinced by Pearce, but it is another game without the "village" ...

Re: Saracens etc and the future

I think we are extremely lucky to have as our Chairman & shareholder someone who played for the club, whatever some of the poor choices/decisions made by the board over recent years, at least our Chairman thinks Rugby first. Some other clubs owners might have more money, but Peter Tom has the club r...

Re: London Irish (A) Sat 9th Oct & Worcester (A) Sat 16th Oct

If its not injury or rest I would guess its because LI score a lot of 2nd half points and we may want Wigglesworth to close the game out I would imagine this is the likely reason.. makes sense . I am not too sure about that, Wigglesworth has not been good and asking him to close out the game with h...

Re: London Irish (A) Sat 9th Oct & Worcester (A) Sat 16th Oct

3 of the players are returning to Tigers so should be able to fit in quicker if required, Van Staden is joining the club so even if fit will take longer to integrate in, let alone move to Leicester, if he has gone via SA he won't be available for a while.

Re: Round 3 - Saracens (H) - Saturday 02nd October 2021

I'll probably get a lecture for this.........but Earl's antics are over the top. They are too extreme to be simply encouraging his team so they must be to antagonise and provoke a reaction from opponents? In the good old days he would have got one......and that would have been the end of the matter...

If Sarries are worth £32m how much are Tigers worth?
No! Don't give the board ideas...
£25m is for Itoje's image rights.

Re: Round 3 - Saracens (H) - Saturday 02nd October 2021

The scoreboard only has meaning come the end of the match.... Kudos to Ridley for having the courage to do the right thing come the time. Many would, I believe, have found a way out. Learning how to win - this is the art of professional sport. But now especially we must guard against expectation , r...

Re: Ben Kay

Frankly I'm glad he is no longer on the board as for me he and his Rugby Board members were complicit in our downfall. It's no coincidence that post their respective departures our revival has begun. Mr Kay was part of the board that appointed Borthwick, so arguably he is as much part of the reviva...

Re: Sarries takeover

Certain people are still involved, the true crimes & depth of cheating have never been unearthed, those involved should have been driven from the game, much like Drugs tainted sportsmen the stench will never leave & all previous achievements are questioned, it also casts doubt on those who beat them.

You do wonder if it might be home via Japan, or Super Rugby.
He does seem to be enjoying himself in the field, but it has been & still is obviously very hard for the family being so far from home with a youngster however much he enjoys his morning housework.

Maybe those at Exeter should look at the example in Wendyball of Blackburn Rovers as a tale of what can go wrong after a rise to the top, driven by one man's benevolence.

Very true! Can’t wait to see our back row of Liebenberg Van Staden and Wiese lining up together!
Indeed, but the question remains when?
& why would you drop Reffell...
