Re: Tigers v Pau Saturday Nov 16th

I know a few seasons ago despise it being an important match the Scarlets didn't play anyone at Cardiff with knee issues. It really is time they are banned. I would of thought next week will be a mixed team, we need to ensure some of the fringe players get good game time. Back to yesterday who appea...

Looked like in training it was
9. Youngs
10. Ford
12. Taute
13. Manu
14. SAR
I very much doubt Taute will play at Cardiff.

Lest we forget it was Meyer who brought Scott Hamilton the club and for me that's one big plus.

Re: Heyneke Meyer

I have nightmares about the Meyer era still. Not as bad as the reappearance of the rotund MOC, but close. The Loffreda era was similarly nightmarish. Meyer served up some of the worst rugby I have ever seen from Tigers, Loffreda could of worked but that was the start of player power that has sown t...

Re: The World Cup Final

The last England Prop that could scrummage the life out of any oppostion was Andrew Sheridan. Since then its been more about park running and becoming lither--as we have seen with Cole.. And the papers said Jones was a strategist par excellance.................... Sheridan could out scrummage Austr...

He was in an above board role with Cricket Australia, no?
Didn't he go home for the family business originally? Pharmaceuticals?

Re: Is Lavanini going to be a liability?

He has the potential to be the signing of the league this season, since Johno & Cozza stopped playing we have lacked a bit of edge, we have signed 2 nasty 2nd rows & Taufua isn't exactly a shrinking violet, with Genge that puts serious bite into our pack.

Re: Pat Howard interview

He still looks like he could run out on the park.

It's just a shame he isn't back in charge, a shoe in for Cohen.

Re: Leicester vs Saracens

So what you are suggesting is that Tigers coaching is so useless that they didn't give him any time to practice some kicks on the WR pitch until an actual match. What the hell do they do Monday to Friday? I would suggest it looks rather different with people in the stands. :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 N...

Re: Leicester vs Saracens

So what the hell was he doing during pre-season then? It should only take a decent kicker 20 minutes of practice to re-calibrate. Sorry but for me he looks like just another journeyman from the SH. But it was his first game at WR. So what you are suggesting is that Tigers coaching is so useless tha...

Re: Leicester vs Saracens

Viljoen was doing most of the kicking from hands for pens right? Maybe he hasn't fully adjusted to the lower sea level compared to compared to Bloemfontein which is where I believe he did most of his in game kicking at till he was signed by Western Province? So what the hell was he doing during pre...

Seems like it is Rennie
A bloke who should be coaching us..
Us? Tigers? England?

Why SHOULD he be coaching us? Whoever us is.
Tigers, missed opportunity before he went to Glasgow.
Why.. because he's a rather good & successful coach.
