Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

As a Scot, well done to England. Not sure where that performance cam from, but a positive going forward. Question regarding the Scotland vs Italy game. The deliberate knock-on at the end, which resulted in a penalty. Why not a yellow card, when deliberate equals cynical equals a yellow? Jones had a ...

Completely agree with all. She is certainly one of the best sirs out there and I would definitely favour her to some others.... One of the best refs at WR in a while. I believe she would be referred to as Ma'am. This being the formal way to refer to a lady in authority (as practised in the Military).

Re: 6 Nations 2023

Re Farrell and Russell. As a Scot, I am ecstatic at the result. As a Tigers supporter, I am glad we suffered no injuries. Never been an Owen Farrell fan, so you give it out, you expect it back. He shouldn't even have been on the pitch.

Gary Sherrard

Gary, the former head of comms at WR left in Dec 22. There has been nothing on the official website to articulate why, to offer any thanks for his 16 years service (which is pretty poor by the club), and nothing on the forum. I only found out by reading an copy of The Rugby Paper. Two questions: Why...

Re: Freddie Burns departing - date to be confirmed

Hi all from the Falklands. I have to say that I have a lump in my throat writing this. Sir Freddie of Leicester is leaving. The man who gave us probably the most iconic moment of our collective years of supporting Tigers. Like a Phoenix, we rose from the ashes to return to glory, and wearing the cro...

Shocking refereeing decision. No idea how they guessed that one, and compounded by Healey squeaking that it was a try.

DM now saying that Aled Walters will be following SB & Sir KS. What on earth is going on? Have the board taken leave of their senses?

Re: Tigers v Gloucester (H) - Christmas Eve 2022 - KO 15:00

Watched the game from 8,000 miles away in the Falklands. Tight first half. Much better after the break. Great start to the RW reign. Some of the play needs tightening up, but that will come. The centre pairing did well as did the rest of the backs. Watson is electric, when he is on form. Even with t...

Gutted for the players, staff and supporters. Someone has to answer for this. There are staff who are now out of work and unable to support themselves, because they placed their trust in the owners.

Agree wholeheartedly with the appointment. A standout player, in a standout team. Likely to be present throughout the season, just hope SA don't come calling (selfish I know).

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

Good evening to all the posters. On behalf of us all, all those there yesterday and everyone who has walked through the doors at WR this season, to all the players, coaches and staff "Thank You So Much." An epic season, that is unlikely ever to happen again. Could not be prouder of my club...

Re: 2021, Some of the Best Tries:

The two best tries this season: Penalty try vs Saracens and Guy Porter vs Bristol, if only for the reaction of the players! The crowd noise at WR vs Saracens was epic, but imagine the noise if the GP try was at WR. Blimey!!
