Re: croft
Essentially we need them both. The questions are:- Can we afford them? - Gibson will undoubtedly demand a higher salary How to use them? - Ideally look at each game and decide who will work best. Also of course to save them both for the end of the season. Will they both be knocking on England's door...

Re: Tait - New Contract?
I think Tait in tandem with Gonerva; Morris/Scully is our best and most potent back 3.
If you watch tigers long enough you might get to see them play together again..but don't count on it....

Re: At Quins and no mistake we were woeful
I am not blaming Luke Pearce for our loss but if you are going to say someone's legal, as he did on at least two occasions for us, then you need to make plain when that ends. If a player is told he is legal in a certain position he is going to keep on going. BY as captain should have spoke to him. A...

Re: Tait - New Contract?
Keeping Tait would be a major plus and one I think Mauger would welcome. As for Bell he is very much a work in progress and needs this season to get to grips with the Premiership and his championship exploits. He will play in the LV Cup and probably against London Welsh at home at least. He may not ...

Re: At Quins and no mistake we were woeful
I think given the games we have had recently:- Toulon x2 Northants Sale Bath Quins The intensity has been high but it was off on Saturday. It is difficult not to be disappointed and the LV cup cannot come quick enough for me. We will lose a few to England and Italy I suppose but the 6 Nations should...

Croft
In the Times today it intimates that TC wont get a Stella deal with his expiring at the end of this year. It seems his lack of playing may affect what he is offered and given he is 28 it could mean he moves on. The progress of Gibson has clearly blighted his importance so it will interesting to see ...

Re: The next 6 pivotal games
I think the Quins side will depend on the fitness of:- Marler Robshaw Evans All I believe due back either this or next week. Are they 100%? Who knows. As for Balmain - He starts for me - Logo cannot be expected to go 80 minutes are injury, he will be good for a firey 20 -30 mins in my book. Also, wi...

Re: Saints vs Falcons - Entertaining Friday night rugby
Watched the game and thoroughly impressed with both teams. You especially have to admire Saints adoption of the Sarries blocking and taking players out, which, although highly illegal, has clearly been coached into them. I know everyone does it but they are top of the tree at the moment for their ex...

Re: Only plastic counts!
I think there will be more of these 3g/4g pitches around soon. There will undoubtedly more developments to make the surface more realistic. Of course it may end up taking out the adaptability of playing styles and encourage a single style throughout the season. If you think about it when the season ...

Re: Manu out until mid Jan
As long as Loamanu is fully fit then he can warrant a place on the bench but after his long lay off I cannot see him starting. This game has come too soon unfortunately:- Croft - Has not had enough game time to get into a position to go 80 minutes. May not even be fit enough for the 23 Morris - His ...

Re: Manu out until mid Jan
I doubt we will set MT for a while, it could be his season is finished. There is clearly something fairly seriously wrong and rushing him back for 1 or 2 games and then being out for another 10\12 is not what we or he needs. We are really weak at 13 without him and unless we find a solution quick it...

Back Row
With croft fit again and hopefully returning to match fitness in the next 3/4 weeks is this the opportunity we have been waiting for to make our back row more dynamic! My thinking is can we now have either Croft or Gibson starting and use have the other come on after 50 minutes. This might give us m...

Re: Freddie Burns
I really hope Burns comes good. He is down the pecking order with England and not really the sort of player a French team would go for. Also, I happen to think he's a really good player and we need two good 10's.

I would really like him to stay, but at the end of the day as long as he is up front and honest about I wish him every success.
