Ah, hadn't considered many Tigers fans would have travelled.

I've already posted it on munsterfans.com, but no takers yet. Incidentally, I'm not looking for anything for it (cost 25 euros), though a small donation to Matt Hampson's trust would be appreciated.

Place available for Munster-Tigers pre-match

I haven't the heart to head up to Limerick, attend the prematch, then stay in the pub while everyone else heads out to Thomond to watch the game, so if anyone else would like to avail of the spot, please do. Basically, it's a meal & dessert, pint of Heineken, watch the earlier HEC game on the bi...

You could also lose while scoring two bonus points, thus ending on 21 points.

I'm not sure how similar they are. I reckon Ellis is likely to break more, Stringer will pass more. I haven't seen enough GP action to say much about Ellis, but Stringer has been excellent over the last season at making a nuisance of himself (as any good scrum half should), and tackles very well for...

In my opinion, the atmosphere at Thomond tends to be directly proportional to the calibre of the team we're facing. I think it's a fair compliment to Tigers to note the atmosphere at next Saturday's game is going to be Thermonuclear. At times, Thomond can go very quiet during games (for various reas...

BelperJon wrote:Where exactly is Dolans on Dock Street? I know it's number 3/4 so am I correct in assuming it's near the Shannon Bridge roundabout?
Quite near, from the bridge head past the Clarion Hotel (tall building, can't miss it), Dolans is only about 50m further down the road.

Finau's knock on - The ball was smashed loose in the tackle. This is not a knock on by Finau, as Horan was in possession of the ball, so no problem. It seemed to me Finau's left arm knocked it out of Horans grasp, hence the knock on. The Munster players, for some bizarre reason, tried to keep the p...

i admit that that ref gave us absolutely everything. jutge will give us everything too. he always does ! Well, except for Finau's knock-on in tackling Horan in the lead up to one of the tries... And a possible double movement (or more accurately a 'failure to place the ball immediately') for anothe...

Munster may - ironically - have stumbled across a way of defeating touts. Most tickets for home Munster games are now "e-tickets", it's an attachment to an email with a barcode which you print out and bring with you. It is (obviously) very easy to duplicate, hence you'd have to be insane t...

1) Yup, I'm looking for a ticket too. 2) Already understood, though in general it can be easier to get tickets from the away allocation since if people cancel at the last minute it may be too late for another away fan to arrange flights & accommodation. It's no surprise that this doesn't seem to...

If Munster qualify for a home QF (obligatory disclaimer!), I'd rather see it in Ravenhill than going abroad. It's the largest available stadium, and would be a day trip for many, without the costs of a trip to mainland UK.

Re: Not a lot of help

Our Tickets say North Goal Line, and they are seats with numbers. Are we on a temporary stand behind the goal? It's probably better than the "North Stand" - those temporary stands they erect in the corners - in which your view is blocked by the railings. It's like watching the game from p...

its a lot better now and will be a super stadium in 2 years. you can stand where you want ! Can't wait for the new stadium - it won't be the biggest but it'll certainly be the finest stadium in Ireland outside Croke Park. Good to see that they're retaining the terraces in front of the stands and at...

Wow. There are probably more Munster fans on this thread (looking for a ticket...) than you'd find at a home Magners League game!
