Re: Leicester Tigers Women 2023/24 - Vicky Macqueen in 'The Magnificent Fifteen'

Unfortunately, overwhelmed again by a strong Bristol side, though it does sound like a more positive effort overall. Amy Cokayne's influence is obvious as she bags herself not only her first Tigers try, but a hattrick! Disappointing to ship too many tries again, but we did secure a try bonus ourselv...

There were 3 academy lads on the pitch at halftime being announced as signing contracts. Did anyone catch who they were?

Wonder if George Bridge fancies a new home ?
You'd still fancy them to win a playoff, but their form is dreadful.

Re: Joshua Manz

I think Finn is big enough to play lock, and has done for us this season and not looked out of place.

Its not so long ago that we weren't sure Martin was a lock, and look how that turned out!

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

I was mostly just happy the players looked like they really wanted to deliver a result. It felt like the players were just letting the season drain away, but credit to them for fronting up against a good Exeter side who had something to play for. Means we can head into a rebuild knowing its not all ...

Re: Leicester Tigers Women 2023/24 - Vicky Macqueen in 'The Magnificent Fifteen'

Huge results for our North Americans in the Pacific Four series this weekend! Firstly, a stirring 2nd half saw USA overturn a 14 point deficit to beat the Wallaroos 25-32 in Melbourne! It was a surprise (and much needed) return to form, as they've had a tough time getting into stride post-covid. Rea...

Re: Leicester Tigers Women 2023/24 - Vicky Macqueen in 'The Magnificent Fifteen'

Back in action today away at Bristol, 1530. Another difficult match. Tigers battled admirably for 60 minutes away at the Stoop last time out, but definitely lacked the extra oomph from our absent England and North American internationals. Clear disparity of experience on the benches too. Couple of w...

It really isn't.
0 points, and not much to shout about the performance either.

Didn't completely fold in the last quarter, but that's minimum standards.

Not too bad in the end. Glad I stuck with it. Obviously a lot to do in the Summer but there is a semblance of a good team there. I don't think there's much wrong with the squad, besides a backup 10. The fact they look so poorly coached is a massive concern. Huge job to be done in the off season.

Sale are nothing special. A good team would have taken them this evening.

The fans want the season to end, and it seems like most of the players do too.
