I hope we take this relatively seriously. No need to risk the key players, or anyone with a high workload, but a game vs a roughly 2nd choice side would be really competitive.

Not ideal, obviously, and I go in with no expectations. Just hoping we come through unscathed.

That said, happy to see Shillcock named as a 15.

Really hard fought 2nd half, and Scotland battled for everything, but couldn't get enough territory and a late France try just kept them at arms length. 5-15

They deserved a point, but that's a 45 point swing from last year, so big progress.
