Re: Manu sent home
Excellent piece of man management from MoC today regarding this. Protecting his man, just like EJ did with Ford when he was criticised (albeit for different reasons). Personally I like it when a manager tells people to back off in no uncertain terms. I expect a positive response from MT to his coac...

Re: So proud...
Fantastic performance from the lads. That was proper Leicester- something that has been missing for a while. Bottle it and take it on to next season. Phenomenal from Youngs x 2, Tait, Genge, TV and everyone to a man. Out on their feet at the end. Farewell to several much-loved players but they can l...

Re: Ben Youngs withdraws from Lions squad
Thoughts with the Youngs family and enormous respect to Tom for continuing to play and Ben for his decision. This is just rugby. Family first.

Re: Marcos retires
Thank you Marcos. What a player. We have been so blessed in the front row over the years and he has been right at the top for the best part of a decade. We should offer him the moon on a stick to take on a coaching role.
Tigers legend.

Thank you Aaron
Thanks Mauge - not only are you a quality coach but you are an absolute gentleman and a Tiger forever. You showed your class on the pitch in a career cut unfortunately short and I feel this has been somewhat mirrored in what a great number of people would say is a coaching career at Tigers again abr...

Re: Ellis Genge
He certainly has the aggression to be a quality international front-rower, combined with possibly more pace than any other international in that position. His scrummaging is improving rapidly - hardly surprising bearing in mind the players he can learn from at Tigers. I still think his defensive pos...

Re: Matt O'Connor In...Mauger Out
What an horrendous shambles. I feel like I'm supporting a football club. The revolving door thar has been increasingly in motion for great players seems to have sucked coaches in to its vortex. Surely it would have been better to wait until May for this; is this the board's way of saying "Sod it, we...

Re: How good is Dan Cole?
He is a world class scrummager and a very rare beast in a tight head who regularly plays 80. His work at the breakdown is superb for a THP. He doesn't carry or pass well, but in a full-strength England pack we are not short of carriers. Tigers, however, desperately need a few!

I feel like this happens to such a disproportionate number of our big signings. The club is a walking sick bay. Or cursed.

Re: Tigers v Glasgow
Embarrassing. They fronted up physically and where all the Tigers sides I've watched would have licked their lips, rolled up their sleeves and gone to work, this lot rolled over and presented their tummies for tickling. Our back play was horrible at times and while YBY is a superb leader, again Sam ...

Re: More media foment over school rugby.
Murphy, that would not work in schools in their PE period, how would you get all the 8 stone kids to be taking PE at the same time, some would be on Maths, English periods etc etc, then you move on to 9 stone, 10 stone etc. OK would work on Saturdays if the school played matches, but not much time ...

Re: More media foment over school rugby.
What we should be doing, as they do in NZ, is separating kids in to weight categories, rather than age groups. This takes away the possibility of tiny kids getting battered by that one freak of nature who weighs 14 stone and has a moustache at the age of 12. It encourages focus on balls skills and f...
