Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
Totally agree. It wasn't so long ago that everyone, critics included were saying Freddie was world class and the 1st name on the England team sheet. He hasn't lost that class because he's missed 2 6N games and made a couple of poor passes. He may have lost a bit of confidence because people keep sla...

Forwards played well but backs butchered 3 try scoring opportunities. Is this just lack of confidence or what?

The pessimism on this site is gruesome. This is a fans Forum of course we'll win whatever team we put out.

Re: Black Lions fixture
Cockerill was a top bloke. He once turned up to coach about 150 school children when 3-4 other England players suddenly didn’t turn up. “ No problem,” he said, then told a few of us what he needed setting out equipment wise and for a whole afternoon had the children enthralled by his coaching. Afte...

Really enjoyed the way we tried to play last night. Now as others have said, hopefully we will put in the best performances of the season v Saints, Bristol, Sale and Exeter. Saints were very good today but they did give quite a few penalties away: they have a very strong defence and their attack ca...

Very disappointed to lose Phil. I thought he showed great promise. Maybe his face didn't fit with McKellar.

Agreed re Ilione, Dan Mc. doesn't seem to have much faith in the younger lads and seems to be selecting on reputation. Weise played well yesterday but Pollard way off his best, Montoya also not up to his normal excellence. I thought the bench brought some much needed energy but substitutions too lat...

Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests - Latest: Andrea Pinchen
I’ve just listened to the podcast and apart from Andrea’s comment or should I say lack of comment on the Ten Team League and confirming that senior men’s team recruitment was virtually complete I found her responses rather bland and disappointing. She talked a lot about process but gave no specific...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
Are we expecting new signings to be announced today? That tends to assume there will be any new signings :smt002 I'm sure Andrea said most of the additional cap will be used for retention of existing players. I will say that I am not totally convinced about the statements saying we will spend up to...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
So based off bits of chatter and the guys who have re-signed today I’m guessing the squad will look something like this for next season: 15 - Steward, Brown (+ Gourlay and Daniels) 14 - Watson, Simmons (+ Satala) 13 - Kelly, (New Signing? - Perese), Porter? (+ Cusick and Davies) 12 - Kata, Cokanasi...

Re: Alan Dickens - Tigers lack of attack coach.
I do think that we don't yet have a settled 1st 15 that has played a good number of games together. Our back line in particular has suffered from a lot of injuries. When you have a settled team and get a couple of injuries it's easier for the replacements to fit in but we're not yet in that position...

I agree like most players though he needs game time to get to his best.
