Re: OTY retires
I’m truly gutted but I had been expecting it for some time. I got to know Tom well at Nottingham and he’s never forgotten his little fan club (me and my friend) he’s always had a smile and a kind word for me every time I’ve seen him and he was particularly kind and supportive to me when I fought my ...

Re: Drinking culture at stadiums
I actually wish Tigers would take a leaf out of Twickenham’s book and stock an alcohol free lager option. When I’m at home I enjoy such thing while watching a game and I would love to enjoy one while at the match. I cannot have soft drinks (diabetic and allergic to caffeine and certain sweeteners) a...

I’m not going either.
I’ve officially transferred the ST to my husband.

Re: Genge leaving
There is absolutely zero/nada/no way that this Bristol move was on the cards when he was offered the captaincy. We get constantly peddled this ‘journey’ bullsh*t and two of our most influential players, one of which is our captain, have decided that this journey is not for them. I’m angry about the...

Beyond gutted :smt022 :smt022 Obano is an interesting one. Personally I don’t rate him. However. His brother is at Nottingham- I don’t know if having family in the vicinity might sway him? I would absolutely love love love it if we got Tom West. Unlikely if he’s got time left on his contract but Was...

Re: Which team would you support
Nottingham are my other team. I haven’t been in ages though as their games are on Friday nights and as I don’t drive they’re a mare to get back from. Ironically enough it was Tom Youngs that got me supporting Nottingham when he was on loan there. I have to confess I do watch Wasps but only when Tom ...

If we signed Jackson I would cancel my ST immediately.

Re: Nottingham and Tigers announce an formal cooperation agreement
There are a lot of former Tigers in the small Nottingham squad already as well. Jake Farnworth Aniseko Sio Owen Hills Ben Betts Ronnie du Randt Charlie Thacker David Williams Had this partnership deal happened a tiny bit sooner I wonder if Simmons (Jersey) and Aspland-Robinson (Coventry) might have...

Re: Nottingham and Tigers announce an formal cooperation agreement
SK88 is spot on with what he says. We have had issues with partner clubs (not so much Tigers, although it has happened, but I’m thinking more of that lot down the M69) deciding they want our first choice players when we desperately need them for big matches. In return- well hmmm that’s mixed. That l...

Re: Nottingham and Tigers announce an formal cooperation agreement
As a Nottingham fan as well as a Tigers fan, I’m not sure about this.
This all sounds great in theory but I have no doubt in practice it will be rather more one-sided.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE VI: The Return of the Burns
Reading the disciplinary decision for Rhodes it actually says that he is retiring. I would have thought if he had signed for another club he would have had to declare it to the RFU but both Sarries and Rhodes said he intended to retire.
