Re: Worcester’s woes

Not 100% sure but in my simple view I believe that the requirement is to pay all rugby creditors, i.e. club staff, players etc. Wasps main debt was a bond that they couldn't pay rather than the rugby creditors. I do feel for Coventry rugby who will have another team parachuted into their league. I d...

Re: Abuse to Officials?

I remember Cockers going mad at the officials once,I think it could’ve been a really bad tackle on one of our players. Anyone recall the game,or player Wasn't it the 2013 Prem Final, Lawes hit on toby Flood that took him out of the game? Cockers contended it was late. That’s the one! Fantastic memo...

Re: Wasps in the mire - now in administration

Looks like the stadium owning company is entering into adminstration but that could happen in the next few weeks. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63483798 Mike Ashley is interested in buying it but will be interesting if the council invoke the clause previously reported allowing them to take po...

Re: Single use paper cups?

The slightly alarming aspect of this discussion is that at the pre-season match between Newcastle and Tigers the option choice was not between single use paper cups and the old hard plastic re-usable deposit cups, which I did love and approve of, but between single use paper cups and single use thin...

Re: "Afters"

And yes, the hooker standing on the pitch is a major bugbear of mine as well, it is so easy to enforce, just tell the hookers that the law requires them to be off the pitch and if they stand on the pitch to throw in, it's a free kick to the opponents, simple. One other wish is that the ref had a sp...

Re: Our pitch

There was a brief update on the news section of the website talking about this: https://www.leicestertigers.com/news/ed-mowes-supported-by-stihl-january It talks about using lighting rigs which I guess they use to try and overcome the shading element from the stands and the shorter daylight hours du...

Re: Frank Murphy

I thought he was good, consistent. Thought the first half yellow card for Cardiff was a little harsh but the defender didn't really use his arms then when he was arguing as he left the field loved the way Sir said if he wanted more then just keep talking! Clear direct and decisive.

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback Seasons 2017,2018 & 2019/20

We had the same experience on Friday night, went to the Final Whistle after the match as a party of six and queued for what seemed like an age getting nowhere so ended up giving up and popped into town for a decent pint. The light up white plastic drinks tables are an improvement, at least you have ...
