Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2

Ah yes the annual "let's just sign a couple of 18 stone islanders who run 100m in 11 seconds and have the handling of a Sevens gold medallist but no ones heard of them yet" conversation. Whilst we're at it at it King Country apparently have an EQP lock playing for the NZ u20s who went to school at ...

My personal feeling is that Moriarty is going to be used in negations with another player that may or may not have been named.
I agree. We've seen this numerous times.
So RB do you have any feelings, or indeed info, on who the other might be? If so please share.

Not convinced by Furbank at 15 but it was his debut and not a good day at the office all around, so I'll give him a pass for now.
Based on yesterday's evidence he'd probably drop your pass. :smt003. Debut is no excuse. It was Ratez's debut and he scored one try and made another for Olivant.

Re: IS this season a waste of money and time

I understand the original question and empathise with the sentiment. Personally I enjoy watching players who are new to the club and also youngsters coming through from the academy. It is exciting watching out for the next superstar. Add to this the addiction to supporting the club through thick an...

Re: Ed Griffiths in more trouble?

EG worked for Middlesex Cricket Club after leaving Saracens, and is accused of acting as an unregistered players agent, against ECB rules. Re: Last nights development match

Looks like there was more action in the bar than on the pitch judging by the following comment from the match report on the Tigers website: Scrum-half Van Poortvliet showed his pace in defence as he raced back to dot down behind the tryline from a kick through by the Warriors with Tigers still four ...

Re: European Weekend

Can’t see Toulon or Bristol not winning comfortably. Bordeaux play at Wasps and currently have 22 points and better points scored by 31 points. So if I have it right we will be playing either Bordeaux or Castres either at home or away Was thinking something similar: I imagine Bristol and Toulon wil...

Re: Pau vs Tigers - Sat 18 Jan 20

Boladau at 7 is an interesting selection. I'm not saying it's wrong but it occurs to me that our starting back row doesn't appear to contain a natural turnover specialist so how we compete at the breakdown will prove interesting.

Come on Tigers!!

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

What galls me is the fact that the media continues to refer to them as Champions. They are no more champions than Lance Armstrong was Tour de France winner in the seasons he chose to cheat by using drugs. :smt013

Re: Tigers vs Cardiff - 12th January 2020

What's happened to Jake Kerr? Seemed to be developing nicely last season but hardly seen in matchday squads so far this season? I thought they might rest Tom Youngs and start with TPN with Jake on the bench.

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

IMHO, they are not going to be inside the cap at the end of the season by any legitimate way & as such should be automatically removed from the Premiership & their shares in PRL recovered. I feel sorry for the genuine long term Sarries fans if any are left. The club have been financially doping & s...

Just look at what he brings. Proven finisher with a great strike rate. High work rate. Superb under the high ball. Great defender.

Re: Tigers vs Bristol - 04th January 2020

I do wonder what happens at half time... I noticed Bristol were cheating right through the second half, they had 15 men on the pitch the whole time but despite that Tigers managed to sneak a win near the end. However apart from that Tigers were woeful, they need to change the supplier for the half ...
