Re: Castro

Angelo, you are now famous after a mention in our local paper! A shock well summed up by a joyous Italian fan on Tigers' fans' forum, who wrote at the final whistle: "I go to forget my name in some pub" http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/Leicester-Tigers-Brett-Deacon-true-leader-ndash/...

Re: Castro

Hahahaha, thanks my friends, for all your kind words. Rèmi, thanks, i'm glad to have "opponents" like you, and i'm proud to have. I tried to forget my name yesterday, but i ran out of money first...i'll try again next time. I'm sorry about Castro transfer to Toulon, and i see you are too.....

Re: Castro

Great...great...GREAT. The best match played by Italy i have seen in my whole life, i swear. Immense Castro, and the other 14 Azzurri on the field. Too much thrills at the end, the guys could have avoided them winning the scrum insede France 22 area...but i don't care. This time i got nothing to com...

Castro Edison Commercials London 2012

All right, maybe you have seen those commercials, maybe not. If not,you MUST see, the best commercials ever seen in Italy for years. Italians really love them (and Castro, of course). Castro is already testimonial for Edison, an italian energy company, sponsor of Azzurri. But Edison sponsors also It...

Re: Italy vs Scotland - great alternative commentary

Thanks a lot, and congratulations for the win over Ireland. Yep, we miss a decent kicker (Bergamasco isn't continous, Burton gives some reliance, but we need a real sniper) e we must improve in kicking plays too. The scrum...yes, in the Scotland match suffered too much, but with our best players in ...

Re: Italy vs Scotland - great alternative commentary

Well, Azzurri did it. Bravi ragazzi, this evening soup for the Scots, you can eat pasta. But 6 nations is not only the match against Scotland. I hope you'll keep in mind that ^^ Less errors, less nervous behaviours, more focus. Go on. Positive things: Stadio Olimpico sold out. It would have been ful...

Re: Italy Vs. England

Tobias Botes is a scrum half, but Brunel placed him at n. 10. Really, why replace Burton who kicked in a penalty one second before? And he's good ongame too, he defends, he attacks the line...ok, i'm not the coach (and i have Treviso in my heart), but i don't understand. However...we lost 'cause of ...

Re: Castro injured

From FIR site today: interview to Brunel after the match: medics suspect rib fracture on Castro. Can't find the confirmation, but i fear it is. On TV it was obvious he can't breath properly after the hit. Damn.

Re: Italy Vs. England

If Burton had stayed on Italy win game!! Why take your best chance off - crazy, can only be bad news on Castro he looked in a lot of pain. Well played Italy your getting there! England on the other hand will get rugby lesson in next 3 matches IMHO!! i completely agree with you. I hope this will be ...

Italy Vs. England

All right, my friends, i'm still sober and that's a bad new :smt003 Yet another time Italy could make history but missed it, because Rugby matches last 80 minutes and not 40...another time Italy pays his lack of focus in the second half, and England not, because they stay on the match until the end....

Re: Castro injured

Just checked out the sites i know (Gazzetta dello Sport, Federazione Italiana Rugby). Fir site announces Castro received a hit on his ribs, and no more. I'm hoping with you there's no broken ribs on him. I'll check out another time tomorrow

Re: castro

He litterally put the team on his shoulders (as the other men of first row did, but Castro is Castro). When Azzurri scrum, they really scrum!

Re: No Chianti, steaks and ribollita for 6N 2012

the link doesn't seem to work? What happened to Florence- I was looking forward to that? I spoke with a colleague of mine, FIR counselor in Rome, last April. FIR made a provocation (new Flaminio, or 6N in Florence). 6N is a too important business for Rome, and so the Major of Rome offered Stadio Ol...

No Chianti, steaks and ribollita for 6N 2012

All right, Italy will play home matches in Rome the next 6N In Stadio Olimpico. That means 40.000 seats more, and lots of angry roundyballers (i'm happy!) that will complain the sacred grass will be busted up by those savages....Stadio Flaminio is under construction (and i'm very curious to see the ...
