Re: Championship Clubs Promotion

It has to be about the number of fans and the total income of any club regardless of where the money comes from (Fans/sponsorship/benefactor). I would promote Ealing if they (a) earn it on the field (b) if they think that their income/expenditure balance sheet makes this a sensible proposition (c) t...

The stick Cracknell and Rogerson get on here is so overblown it is unreal. This. Cracknell was one of our best players according to many v Leinster. Rogerson has never let the side down Totally agree - Cracknell was one of our better players v Leinster - carried hard and made some very effective hi...

I am not sure who could argue that we have not looked better with Shilcock at 15 and the problem of what to do with Steward will need someone with a better understanding than me. If it was my decision, I would not play him in the center as I don't think his distribution skills are not what I want AT...

I have enjoyed the game and yes, accuracy and missed chances have led to the score line and we were beaten by the better team, but if we had put the same effort against most other teams we would have won comfortably

I know I am in a minority of one but I really do believe that we do have a chance to win this game. Not a great chance but a chance nevertheless. We have gone into games in the past - written off before the whistle has even started the 80 mins and we have won. On my Superbru forecast I will be sayin...

Also here " Phil Cokanasiga will leave Leicester Tigers at the end of the season and will make the switch to the United Rugby Championship after crossing the Seven Bridge to move to Toby Booth’s Ospreys."

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45

Well done to all of the guys who held out at the end - I really don't know how we did it but we did. As far as the penalty count is concerned - we were under a bit of pressure in the scrum before the penalties began to lead to yellow cards and after that, I think we were somewhat lucky to only have ...

Re: Saracens - Harlequins TMO

I have said for a long time now (and several times on this forum) that there should be NO commentary in the TMO's van at all. If you argue that it should be there, why not feed it to the ref and the touch judges as well? Of course, no one would make that argument so why should one official be treate...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

I said at the end of the Welsh game that TR looked knackered and that we should rest him and several replies said he always looks knackered - we have to rest him next week along with DC. An old adage is a kick is only as good as its chase and our chase was awful yesterday, yet we could and should ha...

Possible Black Lion's (Georgia) game

I have held the view that any sporting group of teams benefits from the ability to get promoted or relegated. Saw this report about a possible Georgia v Wales double-header. Near the end is this piece of info regarding a possible Tigers v Black Lions game next year. Would love to see that become a r...

Re: TV Deal for Season 2024/2025

No tv deal would make me want to give up my season ticket and watch Tigers live at MWWR. It would however stop me from going to several of the away matches.

Re: International Eligibility

For me, the passport idea is a total non-starter - there is not a separate passport for Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales and I am sure that the Northern Irish lads would still want to play for the united Irish team rather than become a tier 2 or 3 nation. Neither is the grandparent thing - get r...
