Re: McGinity off

He was one of the few people left I trusted and believed. How many commented on here, on a variety of threads, sang his praises and contacts. I have backed the club in most of their recent decisions, but this one stinks. He was one of the 2 people I was trusting to take this club forward and he has ...

Re: Role of the TMO

IMHO they do a reasonable job and they should be free to draw the ref's attention to "clear and obvious" mistakes/foul play. I would also put them clearly in charge of the clock and by that I mean they should have the right to stop the clock whilst the ref is having a discussion with the front rows/...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope

Ruck is at it again - just picked this up from Tigers fans on F/B - https://www.ruck.co.uk/list-five-senior-leicester-players-set-for-exit-in-2021/?fbclid=IwAR36KWH7Il-Jc89o1Vq3_1fS1_69hoIiQeI29YWrRMADG9ha9hgywW_45Lw can't see Tom leaving or Dan - both must be due a testimonial very soon. Hope we ca...

Re: London Irish Away

For me, it is quite simple. The selected back row doesn't work - no true open side, They are all very very useful but as a 3 - not for me. Need Refell or Wallace to do the turnovers which are vital. Our centers are not creative as a pair and we really need to address this asap and hopefully, Moroni ...

Re: Is Genge in trouble

I have looked at the "grainy" version and the clear version and cannot see any actual contact at all head to head. I can't help thinking and if there had been contact there would have been much more made of it at the time by the Welsh and there wasn't. Has there been any comment afterwards from the ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope

I've always thought Hardwick had ability but he thought he was better than he was. Even when he signed a new contract a few years back there seemed to be a lot of bluster about the sort of contract he thought he deserved (in terms of ££££) For me, he'd be best utilised in the centre but we've never...

Dont look like a very welcoming move for London Irish

Let's hope that the peddlers of this hate can be identified and banned from stadiums and if possible prosecuted.

Re: Manu - Sale injury update

I would not take a risk in including MT in any Lions squad, sad for him and I wish him well but he is far too injury prone to risk lasting a 10 weeks tour (counting training before and matches to be played). When did he last survive 10 weeks without a serious injury?? When fit and playing well he is...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope

At the present time, I would not be worrying about any other signings except if a real bargain came along. We are well served in most areas with a variety of options with the possible exception of 2nd row but I am not even sure we need anyone there. Money is not endless and in the current situation ...

Re: London Irish Away

Give them all the week off - little training seemed to work and they just had to play what was in front of them - lol - joking apart, you can make a case for lots of the combos but I would keep as many as possible.

I got the distinct impression that they were all fighting for the shirt and their right to wear it. A great start and let's hope we build on this - may look at the odds the bookies are - oh shut up you stupid boy

Think the commentator has got it right when he also said our defence is spot on - very very impressed with the pack and Wiggy (a shrewd move from prop to SH - LOL)
