Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

I would hope that the powers that be have already told Sarries what they have to do to get back within the cap and that they do that immediately so that they play no game over the cap. I suspect that there will be nothing done until the appeal is heard and tht clubs they play will have to suffer. If...

Re: Where's Geordie?

I have rarely called for some one to lose their job, except Simon Cohen who will still be in post at the end of the century, but sorry Geordie, you have to move on to another job. When I listened to him on RL on the way home from the game, his comment regarding the performance of the team were a non...

Re: cashless madness - or is it??

Having started this thread and been to both home games and used the system I have to say I don't like it but can see it could work, BUT UNLIKE CASH, doesn't rely on computers working. only 2 working an hour before Saints kick off in the ABC, neither hand pulled working doesn't bode well for the futu...

Re: Typhoon on it’s way

Had to happen I suppose, hopefully World Rugby will have the dignity to give a partial refund to the fans who bought tickets to the match, people have spent life savings on these fixtures. Partial refund????? No it should be a total refund of the value of the tickets if they were bought through aut...

Re: Borthwick

he was sacked for gross incompetence, this is a planned addition to the coaching team, if Geordan was being replaced he would have gone and Mike Ford appointed caretaker until after the World Cup If you believe BT Sport Mike Ford is already DoR. That was the tag underneath his name when interviewed...

Re: cashless madness - or is it??

When buying your second or subsequent pints you simply exchange your empty glass for a full one with no extra deposit being made. I am told that every service point will be able to refund the initial deposit to your card and I assume this is on request not necessarily after the match. Personally I ...

cashless madness - or is it??

I read about the cashless WR but have just been told that along with this is the fact that you can only obtain a refund for your glasses after the game is over. If true, what happens if you HAVE to leave 5 mins early?? If every glass has to be refunded after the game there will be a very very long q...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

Daily Fail saying if Saracens found guilty a lot of clubs want them expelled, sorry unable to do a link from my phone! Sadly if that was to happen they would go to court and if they then lost I suspect without any evidence, that they would try to join the French - not enough money in the Celtic lea...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

Ford will be head coach by the end of the season, he will do his backstabbing to get the job like he did at Bath, not the best bit of business Tigers have done. Looking forward to saying I told you so at the end of the season. with views like this, no wonder we have difficulty in believing in our c...

bet on tigers.

I am an idiot one eyed supporter but I am going to have a £50 punt on us to win the championship next year. Why I hear you all shouting? 33/1 are decent odds if this is true.

Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million

It is quite simple for me and I don't know the answer - if we did sell the club for 60m, what exactly are they buying? The real estate? The shares from various board members? How much of the money goes into the club kitty? What does the"new" board intend to spend the money on if there is money in th...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD

:smt023 From what I understand I doubt there is cap space for both Smit and Blommetjies, if Denton & Stevens retire that may free a little space up but I'd still be amazed if we can fit both in Would be able to get Blommetjies as injury dispensation with Olowofela and Thompstone. Smit the same I ima...
