Benny on BT RUGBY TONIGHT

I had not seen this "RUGBY TONGHT" interview when it was broadcast and only found it , scratching through the listings. Sitting in front of a host of shirts, (they were changed for each part of the interview) he talked about joining Tigers after Waterloo, the early days at Welford road. The great ye...

Re: Six Nations to go to Sky

We don't need the AIs for a start, I only want to see the ABs on tour every few years. Familiarity breeds contempt but my solution would be to start the prem season at the start of August, We could play right through and finish end of March early April. Play 6Ns in April/May. The players then get Ju...

Re: Tigers vs Worcester

I was surprised to see Lavanini subbed for Joe Batley but the subs were good and well worth their salt. It takes some
bottle to put a lad on for an international with a small lead and only minutes to go so full mark to the coaches for doing so.

Re: Six Nations to go to Sky

There have been some fabulous cricket from the SA tour, non better than the T20 final. The vast majority know nothing about it. The BBC didn't include the result in their bulletins. OK SKY money to the game but how many future supporters will it bring? Oil money has ruined wendyball and cricket. We ...

How many top players left because of him? How much talent from the academy was lost?
The club went backwards under him. I rejoiced from the hill tops when he went.

Re: SA to join a 7 nations set up

Loosing our best players for the 6Ns is bad enough but the 6 weeks or so we loose them for the AIs just adds to the harm done to the clubs. I think the clubs should do more to defend the Premier and Championship before we are totally screwed. Tell them we won't put up with the loss of our elite play...

I hoped Joe Batley would be on the bench at least. He is massive and very quick. A loanee I know but I think he is good enough, given the chance.

Re: Scotland V England

The Scots haranguing the kicker was nothing new. it happened in the past often enough, as Bill McClaren used to comment on the "bad mannered booing" of the kicker. But this Scottish nationalism is despicable. For SNP see BNP. What the wee krankie girl should remember is that there are only 5 million...

Ben the scapegoat. I can't believe some of the drivel being written about him in the social media and press. Only a short while since we beat the All Blacks, when he was quite brilliant yet now people are saying he is :censored: and should have been dropped years ago. The whole team was caught knapp...

The "fly through" graphics are excellent and whoever did them should be congratulated. Hope you got a good fee? On the down side of this news, we still have the old Crumby stand, which although much loved, ( I first stood there in the early 50s) it now looks out of place with the rest of the stadium...

Re: France v England

The experimental changes forced upon EJ by injuries were not successful so I fully expect there may be changes for the sweaties. Especially at 8. But the loyalty to Eddie is promoted by his own loyalty to his players. The England team don't go from world cup finalists to pub players if there is no r...
