Tom Youngs
Lots of speculation around the position of hooker as a result of signings (or no signings), and around his position as captain. With a maelstrom surrounding the club, he has been magisterial in the way he has handled himself, while some others have shown their lack of backbone and personal aggrandis...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope
There is a lot of guesswork in this thread about who is replacing whom. With a smaller squad, and following the lead of Eddie Jones, I suspect that SB is wanting players to be increasingly multi skilled and multi faceted, and not fixed to a particular shirt number. Nobody is a direct replacement. So...

Re: New Kit
Mark 62 “ Maybe try dragging yourself into 2020, the idea is to modernise not go backwards.” Poor design is poor design. Modernising has nothing to do with it. What does the new logo represent? What connection is there to the club? What values does it represent? Will it appear on all “company” prod...

1. Don’t mind the new strips
2. New logo thing is utterly utterly dreadful marketing gone wrong.
It is a dreadful piece of design!

Re: New Kit
At a supporters forum meeting a few seasons ago, a new sponsor was teased, and when someone mentioned Topps Tiles as a possibility, they were more than laughed, they were jeered out of court. The actual new sponsor was Caterpillar.
Topps Tiles!!!
How are the mighty fallen.

Re: Interviews - LTTV by Bondi
One of the main objectives of an interviewer is to help the interviewee answer the questions. It’s not about being Jeremy Paxman. Bondi’s style did nothing to help Andrea give clear answers. Borthwick was far more prepared and gave direct answers because he has been given training on how to face and...

Interviews - LTTV by Bondi
Steve Borthwick had some very interesting and informative things to say in his Tigers’ interview, but it was so difficult to watch! The constant editing of camera angles at inappropriate moments and the chaotic approach of the interviewer smack of a very amateur production, but perhaps not quite as ...

Re: Players asked to take pay cuts!
The Telegraph, Friday afternoon: “ A weekend of last-minute deliberations may yet see Manu Tuilagi remain a Leicester Tigers player. The Daily Telegraph understands that there has been a ‘change of heart’ amongst those involved in the discussions and there is some hope that the next 48 hours may see...
