Re: Disciplinary hearings

The referee has been publicly humiliated. He has been shown, as much as the RFU were able to show, that he completely failed to recognise what exactly happened. Remember, he said that he saw Tuilagi "throw several punches" (which did not happen, and was not capable of being interpreted as ...

Tickets for Harlequins

Having purchased two tickets for tomorrow for a friend and his wife, he has promptly put a disc out and is now in a horizontal position, and not moving anywhere The seats are in the Caterpillar Stand, at the back of block BU, if I remember accurately (the tickets are at home). Cost was £26 each - an...

Re: Dan Cole - an analysis by David Flatman

I am so glad that I have read Flatman's analysis. My wife is still partially deaf from my yelling when the excellent French TV coverage showed aerial shots of Mas doing exactly what Flatman has described. Same age old question however - what was the touch judge on that side doing? Adjusting his make...

Re: Toby Flood - Repaced v Irish due to Injury?

Rewatching the game, I spotted that after an early spot kick (not the first conversion, maybe the first penalty), Flood turned to run back, shaking his head as if in an attempt to clear it. Looked quite strange, and he didn't look at all happy

Re: Enough is enough, where is 36?

The usual contacts have told me that Twelvetrees is not available because he is already committed to the following: 1. Eradicating child poverty 2. Solving the Global Warming issue 3. Negotiating a lasting peace in the Middle East He also plans to rest one day of the week It is obvious from your pos...

Re: Jerry Flannery - now banned for 6 weeks

Just looked at "it" again on the BBC Website. This appeal is the ultimate "frivolous" act. Who on earth is advising him - a retired kamikaze pilot? The counter appeal would add at least a couple of weeks, if not four

Re: The Rugby Club

Short memories I think. Blobby has an impressive track record of anti-Tigers comments during games, mainly in the various areas of malpractice, hinting very strongly about a "cheating" approach to the game. Very difficult for him to comment adversely about Tigers over the last couple of ga...

Re: A wasps fan's opinion of todays game

I think I can say for sure that in previous years the Wasps pack would definitely have resorted to uncontested scrums on Saturday. It was a joy to see that was no longer an option for them and fair play was upheld and they got what they deserved - they were destroyed. I love the sentiment, but I am...

Re: IS CIPRIANI MAD

A few observations: - I feel a bit sorry for Cips as the press do seem to lay traps for him. They ask questions of him, that they wouldn't for any other player, and dependant upon his response he either looks cocky or lacking ambition. He can't really win. - He didn't play badly the other day - he ...

Presumably Wasps have already threatened not to turn up? Or a clever pre-emptive strike? Or (without tongue-in-cheek) SKY have spoken!!

Reading some of today's posts, methinks mainly vultures.

I knew you would spot the Piaf motif!! And the spelling mistake, you naughty pedant, you!
