Re: Watching the final on BT app

If you're on the app, begin watching the live feed (if the game is still on) and click on 'enhanced player', and you'll be able to scrub back to the beginning of the live watch and watch from there - maybe get someone else to scrub back to the start so you don't see the score!

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April

That Wiese push was stupid but if Mercer doesn't react like that then there's no penalty in the first place. He committed the first offence but it was dense from Wiese. The players don't look too upset considering what's just happened. Annoyingly, Mercer reacts to Heyes pushing him, doing the exact...

Re: Away vs Bath 18th April

A lot of talk about Wiese giving away the penalty but Heyes is the one who comes in and pushes Mercer to rile him up - after giving away a penalty 5 minutes before for the same thing!

It felt like both were harsh penalties, but why give the ref the opportunity to make that decision?

I agree, clearly a penalty!

Ref said something along the lines of “you didn’t have the ball” which is laughable.

Re: Tigers vs Bristol

We're doomed! :smt022 Do our younger up and coming guys really benefit from being well beaten? Just a thought. As far as next season goes, the one thing we need, which we lack now, is CONFIDENCE! In short, yes. You can learn things in losses as well as wins. It seems to be a constant idea on this f...

It was an incredibly harsh penalty. Barely touched him.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope

Interesting in the article on the website that he is a back up to Ford, Henry and McPhilips. Does this suggest we see Henry as more of a 15 or because he is covering both we need extra bodies? Hardwick now considered a centre as Radio Leicester suggesting? It say's he'll add depth alongside the oth...

Re: Midweek Game - Wed 09 Sep Away to Wasps

I have to echo the realism that some posters have given tonight, and ignore those living off former glories. 1. Whomever is picking the team (this forum seems to be obsessed with who it is) we cannot select the first team 3 times in a week. 2. Our strength in depth is poor, due to a larger player tu...

Re: Midweek Game - Wed 09 Sep Away to Wasps

Interesting that Genge is named captain when White and Smith are both in the starting XV having previously captained the side.

Maybe this is a tactic by Borthwick / Murphy to try and develop more leaders within the squad?

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20

Regarding Lavinini, I didn’t feel like he stood out yesterday while watching the game but his stats were: 2 passes 3 runs 3 metres ran 1 offload 1 turnover conceded 12 tackles (2nd highest on team after Smith with 13) 1 missed tackle 0 penalties conceded. The above obviously neglects how many clear ...

Only 87% tackle success - which doesn’t include the times where no attempt was made to tackle!

Re: Gloucester vs. Tigers - Sun 30 Aug 20 (1630)

Doesn’t seem to be much back 3 cover on the bench?

Particularly given Worth can cover centre I’d have thought there would have been another back 3 player on the bench instead of another centre.
