Re: Exiles set for Exile?

As the league looks to be a 10 team competition, I do worry for clubs with decreased revenue, A games just don't cut in terms of TV and crowd revenue, I think there are tough times ahead :smt022

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Saturday 25th March 2023 - KO 12:30pm

Got say I was a little worried about our back line against a stella Bristol back line. Our boys were magnificent and I am Ioving Mike Brown. He has been outstanding, tackling, in the air and always beats the 1st man, which makes so much a difference. Our pack is a great mix of youth and proper exper...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2022/23 - Prisoner of Oadby Pre-Season

Excellent article and makes you realise that we have the best crop of young 2nd rows in the country, when you add in Henderson, Martin and Manz. All tall, big units, with a bit more filling out to go, but mobile and all in the international set-up as well. Our only problem in years to come, maybe ho...

Re: Decisions Decisions

I think going for the corner was the right option and so far this year it has worked pretty well. While I agree the couple of bum throws, not hitting Chessum at full extension was frustrating. I believe that Ford's kicking for the corner(s) was poor all day and by not getting it close to the 5m on m...

Add in Leatigaga… not good enough
Leatigaga has been poor and in reality, I have not been impressed with his time at Tigers.

Next 40 mins is about pride and fight, not letting London Irish embarrass us any further!

Re: Guy Porter red card

It is a really a difficult one, my initial response was how can it be a red, he was doing what a lot of defences do and pressurising the pass and the clash was purely accidental. However with the move to reduce concussions, it was head on head, he does come in at pace and under current laws, while h...

Also look at changing your clock time to UK time, I am sure that was an issue for me a few years back

Re: Connacht (H) - Sunday 19th December 2021 - KO 13:00

Good to get the BP win, but made hard work of it! Burns had a shocker, was rusty and then seemed to try too hard, looking for that extra yard from his kicks, or that miracle pass and lacked that control, which breeds confidence. YBY had his best game for a while in a Tiger shirt :smt038 Reffell was ...

Really hope it is the weather that is nagging you RB, as I believe Gengy could be the cornerstone of the club success over the next few years.

Re: Bordeaux away

While some may be a little disappointed with the side and I don't expect a win, but with the format different this year, 3 wins should see us through and if you can pick up a couple of bonus points, then a home draw for the last 16. So I think it is great man management, with SB taking the opportuni...

Wow, that is some side, the strongest we have put out for some time, with a great mix of youth and experience across the 23 :smt041

Only minor gripe, would have loved to have seen JVP in the 23

Also very strong Quins side, so hopefully should be a fantastic game

Re: Tigers @ Gloucester - Friday 24th September 2021 - 1945

As an exile in Gloucester, married into a Glaws rugby mad family, this game is a biggie for me! Last week was a huge step forward, not just the result, but more importantly the style of play. We need a big opening 20 minutes, as the Gloucester fans are pessimistic with the recent outgoings and while...
