Re: Are Tigers the new Chokers?

Quins deserved to be the Champions this season for their overall performance - they finished top of a league system :smt038 . They played better than Tigers yesterday as well. Stand back from this seasons events and take the long view of what has happened over the past years :smt022 . Tigers have lo...

Re: POLL regarding new Tigers kit,

Radical change certainly. I don't know what to make of it yet. A bit "rugby league'ish" (but that is not a bad thing)and a bit like a pyjama top. Who did the market research on this? Even my 16 year old said it was shocking and he wouldn't be wearing one. Might grow on me - but at the mome...

The Aironi match

Glad I decided to stay at home. Nearly half time - 3-6 Aironi! A dire performance so far by Tigers. What is going on?! Clermont knocked 7 bells out of this team.

Re: English clubs cannot compete - Richard Cockerill

This looks very like another excuse for poor management and poor player performance. It is a factor - but the facts reveal that it is not a significant factor. I am afraid the management teams time is up and fresh thinking, fresh ideas and fresh people are what is required to get Tigers back up to c...

Re: Moody leaves Leicester - his version

Always for me a 100% Leicester player - but I have to say I do remember him more as "Lewis Moody - plays for England or injured". Best of luck to him - a tremendous world class player at his peak.

Re: Why did we let Amorasino go?

with respect - we don't score tries against the good teams . Who are the good teams? We just put 3 trys past the current champions and have put 3 trys past exeter who are 3rd. We have no problem scoring trys. It is what is happening at the other end that is the problem - this season to date, our op...

It is just another marketing and money generation opportunity. Increasingly, we look as tugh we are copying the football fraternity!

Re: Quins match thread here!

Feel sorry for Matt Tait - in the Lyon match he looked quite promising. Hope it is not a bad injury and we see a lot more of him. Time will tell.

Re: Quins match thread here!

Need to remember the events around Dean Richards exit from Tigers. I think if by the Xmas/New year period Tigers are still struggling - a change of Coaches will be on the cards.

Neither would I - but as long as he understands that the CLub is bigger than him - he will do fine.

Re: Leicester v Exeter

Thought Niall had a good match and coped well this time under the high ball (he was a bit flaky in the Lyon warm up match at 15). Made some great tackles as well. I like the look of him. Very promising - and thank you Leinster!

Re: Releasing the tackled player

The key issue Refs will decide upon is whether the tackle has been completed or not. Mr Wrigglesworth obviously thought relevant Tigers tackles had not been completed. Overall, I thought Tigers tackling was a bit poor.

Re: Is a top 6 likely??

Very long way to go - lets see what happens when the RWC is over- until then, I am sure we will see some "unpredictable" results. At this point Tigers will have to start performing well for sure if they have had a "challenging" start to the season.
