Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Just looked through the ealing leavers and saw that Steven Shingler was on the list. Could be a useful old head to fill the bench slot behind Polly. Still only 32, but didn’t ply against us in the semi. Any ideas if he is still any good He wasn’t up to much when he left Wales! Also I think I read s...

On the Scott interview he doesn’t say he talked to Moroni, he said he’s got nothing which could be more to the fact that nothing been announced.

Just a counter point
Mee has signed for Scarlets

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

I think kicking for touch would have been the best option, as setting up the lineout would have run around 30 secs off the clock and Bristol attacking from their 22 off first phase was a much greater challenge than from open play. 2.10 is a long time to pick and go with the risk of sealing off and c...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

After all the vitriol posted by certain keyboard warriors towards the officials, I’ve just watched the game on tv to see what I missed live. I can only offer two instances where they got it wrong and it materially affected the game. The first was when Cronin flew into a ruck almost from the Bristol ...

Been a few typically weird Dickson decisions today, luckily all in our favour. After this last one, the Bath forum might make an interesting read!

Re: Tigers v Saints (H) - Premiership - Saturday 18th November 2023 - KO: 15:05

I know it rained off and on but that was a less than inspired game from both teams. Plus points for us - Reffell, Pollard, Wiese. For Saints - Freeman. Plenty of work ons for both teams. From what we’ve seen so far, top four (in no particular order) of Sarries, Sale, Quins and Bath. Tigers, Saints, ...

Disappointing first half. High on endeavour and commitment but poor in quality.

Putting form aside, player for player we look stronger and have a better bench.

Bit uneasy about our backline, given the opposition. A slow 15, a 14 without top end speed and two 12s in midfield, with a 12/13 on the bench. We have to hope for complete dominance up front.

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results

Not bothered who wins, but I cant see past NZ really. I reckon they're just sooo much fresher. Boks will bosh but the all blacks will run round them. Yes,looks like they’ve peaked perfectly. If the England SA turn up they will get crushed, the France SA and we could have one of the greatest finals e...
