Just to update 2 of the side that played Tuesday turned out for South's 1st team yesterday in their 70 point demolition of Bournville. South Colts beat the league champions Harborough comfortably
I can confirm that 1 of the South side has played 2 or 3 games of first team rugby at the beginning of the season but not in the position he played on Tuesday. A number of them older lads have played for the third team, but to be fair that's a lower level than Colts rugby. As for the step up next se...
I think emotion got the better of both sides on the night and defences came out on top. Both sides have played high quality rugby over the season and maybe the pressure of playing on the hallowed turf for the big prize was just too much. As a south fan I can't disagree that taking territory into acc...
Syston did come back well, helped by a couple of very dodgy try decisions. I was too far away to see the Hinckley try decision but they did seem confident. The actions of their full back though were just stupid and deserving of a yellow card.

Roberts will go to Quins, Racing Metro have released him (with no fee) Are there issues at Racing? They let Sexton go early too...

I believe this was discussed at the last fans evening with Vickers and Cohen. The cost of the pitch would be around £800k which the banks will not finance until after the stand is completed which has already been financed
Short memories some, there was a Tigers 9 who developed a technique of going for a kickers standing foot when supposedly attempting a charge down. How he never maimed anyone I don't know, but I don't remember 4 pages of debate about that.
