Ok hypothetical...
IF Montpellier pull out of their deal for him
IF we assume our squad as is (ie no more back row signings)
IF we had cap space (at a possibly cut price deal)
Would we be interested in him on a 1 year deal?

Re: Billy Vunipola arrested
Am I misremembering it but isn't this a similar thing to why Cowan-Dickie had his move to France cancelled?

Untrue, as I have repeatedly stated on here Mckellar was interviewed post match on BBC RL and in response to a question about whether it was a coaching decision or Whiteleys decision to kick the ball away his response it was the players decision and he will be having words with Whiteley. So for all...

Just a point I'll put here (have put a seperate congratulations thread also)
Handrè had his son born on Thursday, which may explain why Kelly seemed to be running the attack a bit this week if he's not been fully training this week.

Again we lost a game from a stupid box kick , 2 minutes to go in there half and we give them the ball back , it can only come back to the coach, he needs to go , we have gone backwards Untrue, as I have repeatedly stated on here Mckellar was interviewed post match on BBC RL and in response to a que...

As it's a Tigers XV next weekend I'd see who steps up then and I'd be tempted to give them a real shot vs Sale if they do well.

Black Lions match
This is billed as a Leicester Tigers XV rather than Leicester Tigers. Personally I hope it's a cross between leavers who we may not get a chance to say bye to otherwise and development guys. 15. Gourlay 14. Cusick 13. Porter 12. Woodward 11. Kinder 10. Wilkinson 9. Allan 1. Whitcombe (c) 2. Dolly 3....

I like Kata as a 12 tbh would’ve allowed Porter to stay on the wing which was is my preferred position for him tbh, I would’ve had Kata in for Socino and Taute combined wage. Shillcock def over Hegarty Cracknell v Jansen is close Brown over Murimurivalu , Honestly Pollard is on par with Ford imo, b...

TBF on B how many on here complained about Wigglesworth and Ashton as dross signings? Fair point but they were old and experienced coming to the end of their careers but we're never dross Idk Ashton was dross at Sale, Wuss and quins tbf I remember every saying he was toxic and could ruin the team c...

Agreed. I'm a huge, huge fan of players like Wells and Clare, but they don't seem at a high enough level any more. Two of the players I'd keep and let succession gradually do it's thing. Clare won't be expensive but he's a solid set piece hooker. Wells has had an off season but is tough and you kno...

I think Simmonds was a brilliant scrum half prior to injury and that put pay to him playing 9 again. For me he is a far better 9 than winger and he should be reinstated he is in a different league to Whiteley Problem for me is that a sucession of coaches have not rated him at scrum half. Pre pandem...
