Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Michael Stronge won it I believe - the scrum half ? Yes though I think he also covered 10 for them (one of the reasons I think maybe Meredith may end up there is Nottingham were short on Fly Halves this season). Van Der Flier though on loan even up for that award is a great sign! Very impressive st...

AVDF is nominated for Nottingham player of the season I guess him at LH and if Hoyt can progress in the off season, we are prob ok for props. Maybe see front row options like 1. Smith, Cronin, Whitcombe, AVDF, (Miell, Kingsley-Mellowes) 2. Montoya, Clare, FTT, Vanes, (Smith, Clarke) 3. Cole, Heyes,...

It certainly also doesn't help that Chessum as he's trying to tackle Thacker gets tackled himself.

Apparently Dan has said Kelly will not be leaving for Munster at the access all areas event tonight Fair play to McKellar and Wilkes for being there tonight. To face up to the fans... not the easiest evening to face up to them https://twitter.com/LeicesterTigers/status/1785006153354592372?t=7dqFTFS...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

https://archive.ph/yzQ2e This has big implications on the squad espcially given the supposed squad limits Indeed! Interesting to note how England will have a say on centrally contracted players training, for example if Borthwick wants Chessum to play 6 not lock because he wants Martin, Chessum and ...

https://twitter.com/connachtrugby/status/1784945826898325631?t=RK9wiGrhVTzPduIbLyLgKA&s=19 This signing makes the move for Kelly from Munster less likely (at least for one season) O'Conor is likely replacing Tom Farrell who was linked (along with Kelly) as one of the options for replacing Frisch.

Re: Billy Vunipola arrested

Ok hypothetical... IF Montpellier pull out of their deal for him IF we assume our squad as is (ie no more back row signings) IF we had cap space (at a possibly cut price deal) Would we be interested in him on a 1 year deal? In that scenario I'd take him, 100%. I doubt Montoellier will pull out thou...

Am I misremembering it but isn't this a similar thing to why Cowan-Dickie had his move to France cancelled?

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

Untrue, as I have repeatedly stated on here Mckellar was interviewed post match on BBC RL and in response to a question about whether it was a coaching decision or Whiteleys decision to kick the ball away his response it was the players decision and he will be having words with Whiteley. So for all...

Just a point I'll put here (have put a seperate congratulations thread also)

Handrè had his son born on Thursday, which may explain why Kelly seemed to be running the attack a bit this week if he's not been fully training this week.
