Re: The Conumdrum that is Ben Youngs !

Lets see how he performs for Mauger! Perhaps his pass on Sunday which turned out to be the final straw that finished off Richard Cockerill will have been worth it!!

Re: Manu out for season

Contractual obligations can't be reviewed - they are obligations. He has played 96 matches for the club and is a major asset. Watching him at full tilt is a magnificent spectacle! I hope he is back and playing soon. Perhaps when his contract is up for renewal it may not be quite as generous but will...

Bonus point for Exeter. Embarrassing seems to be the favourite word on radio Leicester.

Re: Exeter v Tigers - 24th December 2016

Thank goodness not on TV - I, as a confirmed atheist am listening to 9 lessons and carols from Kings College, Cambridge.

Think we are going to need a miracle or two!!!

Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

Tried to check out the bar in the clubhouse stand - apparently we employ a steward to stop those without a ticket for the clubhouse stand going to the bar, or presumably the toilets. WHY??

Treviso - Prosseco €6 a bottle

Very cold and wet And afraid Tigers didn't look as good as against Stade. However Prosseco at €6 a bottle and coffee with a shot of grappa at half time for just over €1 and a bonus point helped take the chill off.

Re: Is picking team without a1st class kicker acceptable?

I can't understand your question Icarus. Have you been flying too close to the sun again? We have two very good kickers in Williams and Bell. Get real man. But Williams wasn't playing and Bell wasn't given the kicking role. Kicking is a vital part of the game - we need a first-class kicker somewher...

Is picking team without a1st class kicker acceptable?

"Freddie has never been a top line goal-kicker as he has only around a 65 per cent successful strike rate and he knows he needs to improve," Cockerill said of Burns. Surely whoever is picking the team needs a rethink. Goal kicking is so important we need first class kicker to start with a ...

Re: Time for Martin Johnson

I suppose the gist of this point would have been lessened had it been mentioned in the existing Cockers must go thread....... Because no point in sacking your manager and then looking to see if there is anyone available to replace him. We need a first class replacement first - then settle with RC -...

Time for Martin Johnson

A new DoR will not solve the problems overnight but will help draw a line under the recent shambles. We need a new start and Martin Johnson has the presence that is needed. We may also need changes in the ranks of the coaches, but I really think this problem stems from the top.

I did say either Cockers or the orange shirt had to go. I suppose changing the shirt was cheaper!

Re: A Question To The Anti-Cockers Brigade

I always though Cockers was keeping the job warm for Martin Johnson - his time with England delayed things but now may be his time.
