Allen joins Coventry as defence coach

Can understand that AA wants more responsibility and experience, but seems a shame to lose him as he seems to be a bright coaching prospect.

Re: Quins vs Tigers

Blimey, Quins were really unlucky not to beat Exeter last week and now they bring back the likes of Care, Marchant and Horwill. They really bettered Exeter's forwards, especially in the scrum, where they won many penalties and had one Exe prop yellow carded - a rare experience at Sandy Park. I think...

[quote=RagingBull post_id=716647 time=1556467348 user_id=10459] If Gloucester was playing Newcastle away I would be quite worried. Wuss safe - it's Tigers or Falcons

Just watched Wuss narrowly beat Glos to secure their Prem status for another year. Direct attacking play, physicality and keeping the ball alive, added to good defense - far better than Tigers at the moment. So, it's come down to between Tigers or Newcastle for the drop. Worst Tigers team ever? How ...

Re: Relegation / How to avoid Relegation?

Well, Worcs are up 24/18 at half time, with three tries in the bag. Looks as if they might well get something.

I just can't see Tigers getting out of this spiral - they seem totally devoid of leadership, ideas and confidence.
Best prepare for a hard 'Lexit'!

Re: Sarries being investigated

Ryan Walkinshaw, previously running Gloucs, has come out and said that more than one owner has admitted to him that they breach the cap - one even offered to show him how easy is was done. Report here... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/47481608 Interestingly, this was the top story on the rugby sect...

Re: Have I missed Dom Barrow leaving us?

I was disappointed to see him leave, but this is a strange one - leaving mid-season with no news on where he might be off to. Can't remember the timing of him agreeing to go to Saints and when Boyd was appointed - was he a Malinder signing? Potential not realised - yet. Maybe he'll end up back at Ne...

Re: Hookers

Can't help to feel a tad disappointed to see this. Shouldn't an international hooker of some renown should be challenging for a starting spot in a team where the competing players are not (yet, in Kerr's case) of his supposed standing?
