26% increase for over-65s; I don't think so.

I want England to win obviously but I want Furbank to be completely exposed in the air and destroyed in defence

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Do defences really dominate now ? Take the Five Nations of 1973 as an example; the biggest single score was Wales' 25 against England. Otherwise 10-9, 14-6, 12-3 and 6-4 are representative examples that year.

'Offside' and 'Sapajo' make very valid points about Saracens and their coaching team. It's also true that they keep the same core of senior players season after season. Whereas we lose players like Genge, Moroni, Ford and Potter and seem to have to start again with a largely fresh team every season.

Match Reports

Who is writing the match reports on the Tigers' website ? They seem to be somewhat juvenile.

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results

Anyone notice that Portugal's defence is based on proper tackling, i.e. round the legs. None of this upright stuff that's both dangerous and ineffective. Other nations take note.

Re: Womens Team

Signing all these experienced/international players is fine, but many of the girls who achieved so much last season must be wondering where it leaves them. A common problem in all sports when a team is promoted from a lower division.

Just as a matter of interest, Dallaglio is still registered at Companies House as a director of Wasps Holdings Limited - not exactly an impartial commentator on the situation.

One of the posts on Shedweb:- "Well, even at 0-0 the result never seemed in doubt. We were outmuscled by a stronger and simply better side".

A proper rugby ground in a proper rugby city with proper rugby pubs. Been many times - sometimes we lose, sometimes we win.

Re: Who should be the next Head Coach / DoR at Tigers?

Excellent news. Let's hope Andrea is now putting the finishing touches on the backroom staff so they can all be announced together. Between this and the share issue she's certainly earning her salary. [/quote] .......and it's a large salary too considering that in corporate terms Tigers is quite a s...

Steward looked better in the second half when he came into MF and joined the line late Steward always looks best when he's against a side that kicks a lot, with his well-known expertise under the high ball. Teams like Italy prefer to keep the ball in hand, so his expertise doesn't get much of a sho...

Re: 6 Nations 2023

Not sure what all the gloom and criticism is about - an excellent test match with the Scots, just that bit more adventurous, shading it. It's getting a bit like wendyball - "Bringing football home" etc. England have no right to win.
