Re: Black Lions match

Given the teams (and without seeing any of the performance), I'd say that's a huge gutsy effort from the cubs. Congrats to all the young lads!

Looking forward to hearing some reports and to seeing these lads get more game time in the coming season. COYT

Re: Black Lions match

Another rolling maul try to FTT and by the sounds of it in testing conditions, another sublime touchline conversion by Wilkinson.

21:8 around 15 to go

Re: Black Lions match

Two touchline conversions for Wilkinson and it sounds like he's playing well. Glad he's getting a chance, he looked good at Sale and is better than just making up the numbers. Agreed Sam - hope he gets a run in the 10 shirt in the cup early season whilst Polly is away. Wilkinson at 10 with Shillcoc...

Re: Black Lions match

Whilst the original match ups looked a stark contrast, it sounds as though the young cubs are showing why they are getting the opportunity.

Hope we reward form and give these guys more chances next year!

I'm not there only following it on the matchday live. Satala off for a HIA though also. Theobald-Thomas with our try You and me both then! Apologies thought you were there TFS! Sounds like Wilkinson is playing well so far too along with Allan. 🤞🏻 Kinder also!!! He’s sounded impressive, wheels and s...

Side note, Van der Flier scores again for Nottingham.

Really hope he gets some minutes next season!

Re: Black Lions match

Honestly as a A team/Prem cup team I wouldn't be upset with that squad at all. But I was hoping to see more at least 2 more experienced starters and maybe like one on the bench to help guide the team. Like Cracknell at 8 with Carnduff 6, Shillcock at 15 or 10. Those 2 starters would make me feel a ...

Re: Congratulations Handrè

Let us not forget Mrs Handre who probably had something to do with the matter. Here here! Congratulations to both! As an aside, if he’s been worrying about the birth the last few weeks it could explain why his game has been a little off colour. Best wishes to them both and here’s hoping they can se...

Re: Tigers v Sale (A) - Premiership - Friday 10th May 2024 - KO: 7:45pm

I'd be tempted to look to some minutes for next year and to try and build some combinations vs Sale and then again vs Exeter. Something like this for both games?: Sale Whitcombe, Montoya, Cole Martin, Chessum Carnduff, Reffell, Liebenberg JVP, Pollard OHC, Kelly, Woodward, Gourlay, Steward FTT, van ...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

First time we've been able to field our arguably strongest starting pack (in round 16... so what does that tell you about some injury/unavailability issues this season!). Strong backline but still evident we are missing wingers (and pace in the backs). Hopefully Freddie back to 15 will help with som...

Re:Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

Time to give a few of the youngsters more minutes, it's a rare opportunity with 3 games and nothing to lose. Carnduff should start all 3 games, Hanro should play at 8 when fit if that's the plan for next season. Ilione needs a lot more minutes. FTT and Vanes, if fit, should be in squads. Woodward p...
