Re: Whats the purpose of our Academy
[[quote]On the other hand Jack Roberts, George Catchpole, Will Evans, Harry Thacker and Harry Wells all qualify as recent graduates and there are more senior players like Ben & Tom, Matt Smith, Tom Croft, Dan Cole, and Manu. I make that eleven of the current full squad of 38, so around 30%. How ...

Re: Whats the purpose of our Academy
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/37752353 When I see the young players we have let go over the last 3 to 4 years playing well for other Premiership cubs, I often wonder what is our Academies purpose as over that period only Evans and Thacker have made it to the fringes of the matchday squad. ...

Re: Whats the purpose of our Academy
George Ford, Alex Lewington, Charlie Walker spring to mind but as you say the more worrying point we are not producing more talent, also not letting them obtain more 1st team experience surely they should be using at least one young player from the academy against the lessor teams at home the likes ...

Re: Game plan for London Welsh?
Tigerburnie not irony just fact. These young warriors you talk about are not going to learn only one thing if we kick the ball to the opposition, that is they will learn how to defend, may be why parted ways with Burke, no ideas in attack whoever is on the park!

Re: Large Tv Screen at Welford Road
This has been discussed before. You come to a live game to watch it live. If you want to see it on a big screen buy a big TV at home. I would rather the club spent £100,000 on players or players welfare than on a big screen. As for not being able to see from the terrace that is your choice to stand...

Large Tv Screen at Welford Road
Watched the Gloucester game yesterday and noted some very nice shiney screens to watch replays. Which I thought was nice for the club to assist their one eyed fans in the shed! :smt002 Will the Leicester Board see fit to do the same at Welford Road? They have created some room now that they have evi...

Re: Best Tigers XV of All Time
Looking on the backs posted on these lists they all seem very modern! When I was a nipper the best backs i have seen were the Tigers backs of the early eighites and i beleive they were the best backs unit ever to grace club rugby! Some of the tries Barry Evans scored especially against the Barbarian...

Rugby pubs with ESPN in Nottingham City Centre For Saturday
Due to the absurd kick off time this Saturday and being stuck in Nottingham for the weekend. I have therefore had to give my season ticket to a mate as I can't attend. Obviously I don't want to miss the game, so therefore does anybody know of any pub's in Nottingham City Centre, which have ESPN and ...
