Re: England v France

As both sides have already qualified, will they be at their strongest or will key players be rested? My initial thoughts are that Billy Vunipola had an anonymous match on Saturday and I hope he will be replaced by Wilson. Singleton needs game time so I’d have him in the starting XV as should Genge....

Re: England vs USA

A question, when the US player was stretchered off am I correct in thinking that he was replaced by a player who had already been subbed? The injured player on the stretcher obviously wasn't a HIA so why was a player who had already been subbed allow to come back on? Again before the keyboard warrio...

Re: England vs USA

Ok. You clearly just don’t like Youngs. Fair enough. It’s interesting how you have only commented on his errors and not others. Ford made a couple of passes which weren’t too good. Genge conceded a penalty. Other players made errors too but it’s only Youngs you commented on. I totally agree, Even G...

Re: Supporters Forum

I agree with your sentiment but that’s the going rate at any event catering these days, sometimes considerably morev These days 4 pounds is pretty cheap. Most places you'll be paying at least that for a pint let alone food. £4 for a burger with 2 bits of bread beneath and above it? That’s not cheap...

Re: Supporters Forum

We tried the food that will be on sale, which was really good. Beef burgers (good, thick patties), Cajun Chicken Burgers, Hot Dogs with good sized Frankfurters in them, Sausage Rolls with Red Leicester, a variety of meat pies. Apparently there was some Vegan stuff as well! I tired the Chicken Balti...

Re: Dave Denton Announces Retirement

A real real shame, had great potential for the club.

i wonder who will come in to replace him, know the club had someone lined up in case he wasn't ready and fit for the coming season

Jordan Taufua

When is he likely to arrive? I see he is still playing for Tasman in the Mitre 10 cup, he seems to be playing more rugby at the moment than if he was to go to the world cup. The way Tasman are performing they are likely to get to the final. I really hope he won't be burnt out by the time he gets her...

Quite a devastating win by England. How much can we read into it?
Not sure how much we can read into it, but that was a top Ireland side, missing only really Sexton, I think it is more a worry for Ireland than an encouragement for us.

Re: England v Ireland

I think England will do well as long as the Saracens players stay fit, they are the spine of the side, the changes I would make from yesterday's side would be Vinipola to come in at prop, Heinz at scrum half as I think Youngs had a poor game yesterday, I don't think he is the best scrum in England ...

Re: Wales 1st in the World?

Just seen a very different angle on this via the Rising Sons documentary they are showing on YouTube, worth a watch if you haven’t caught it. Firstly there is no way it was a penalty let alone a yellow, Watson clearly goes for a man and ball tackle wrapping the arms and in that motion hitting the b...
