Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm
I was going to buy tickets but have just given up because of what I can only descibe as a ludicrous booking system on the Gloucester Website. The system insists on you registering but as I was trying to book multiple tickets including ones at Senior and Junior prices it refused to let me complete th...

Re: Replacement management??
Not had much chance to keep up with Tigers this season other than reading the results so not really in a position to make much comment However there is one thing that continues to amaze me throughout the seemingly endless threads on this issue.... Lots of people keep advocating the return of Pat How...

Re: England vs Wales: 6 Nations
Oh no - it really hacks me off when we loose and all we get is this tosh about performance Because for me England were dire in the RWC and it's important to see progress in terms of putting together a squad that will do better in RWC2015. Therefore while winning is important, on days like today whe...

Re: England vs Wales: 6 Nations
IMO England were competitive and are definitely showing progress. It seemed to me that they forgot what had given them momentum in the 2nd half as they appeared to stop giving Manu the ball so much and the centres were drfiting deeper and deeper meaning they got caught behind the gainline a lot. Lik...

was reading the latest about LI in the Reading paper yesterday and they reckon that both Bowden and Thompstone are joining Tigers next season.

Re: Tigers vs Sale Sharks
Far too much kicking and almost all of it woefully inaccurate at present is giving Sale chance to be in the game
As Will Greenwood has commented there doesn't seem to be much sense of leadership and desire to win by anyone in a Tigers shirt today

Re: Tindall's hearing held in Top Secret location
I've yet to see any reports about where the hearing was held or what the outcome was.
Based on their usual form, something has clearly gone wrong at the RFU, seeing how neither piece of info has been leaked to the press yet!

Re: Johnno resigns
As others have pointed out, with most of the usual senior decision making positions unfilled, it seems no-one has authority to make a decision on who should be appointed. IMO Andrew should take over as acting manager with the existing coaching setup while the new Chief Exec is appointed and decides ...

Re: Glaws LV thread (takes deep breath)
Wasn't there but listened to the Radio Leicester commentary.
Sounded like a good performance and happy to have my pessimism about the impact of the RWC players returning on performance proved to be just that

Re: Alain Rolland - Warburton decision
Interesting opinions for the Florian Fritz red card (HC last season) on the forum? Because this is what the IRB thought of the Red Card issued to Florian Fritz by Alain Rolland:- http://www.irb.com/mm/document/tournament/mediazone/02/05/69/51/111003jodecisionfabriceestebanez(france).pdf Even the IR...

Re: Team's up for the Scarlets match
Quick list of the issues as I see them: Inability to play under any sort of pressure i.e. throwing ball away in tackles rather than going to ground and setting up the ruck Poor execution of basic skills such as passing to team mates Weak defensive work especially in the backs Forwards unable to prod...

Re: ...and that'll be the last we see of Alain Rolland too.
Like others I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who was annoyed by the ITV commentators and "analysts" comments. The discussion at half time simply confirmed how inept the analysts were as they just showed a complete lack of understanding of the rules. I'm going to contact ITV to co...

We all might think that but clearly we've misunderstood things...

Pull your head from your backside Mr Thomas, you then might be able to see what we can all see - that the RFU is an utter shambles
