Re: Reminder - Road works this weekend.
Word of warning, the ones near to Stoughton Road are particularly bad and this was when I witnessed it at mid afternoon. I am unaware if it gets particularly busy on a match day but if it does then it is worth compensating by leaving 10 - 15 minutes earlier than normal.

Re: Star Signing
Talking of signings has anyone heard anymore about the Adam Ashley Cooper supposed signing? IMHO he would be a very good signing, but I struggle to see where he'd fit into the team, unless Tuilagi senior does go to New Zealand.

Re: England v France - team's up
Personally I feel far more sorry for poor Joe Simpson who has been out there since the start and has played all of 13 minutes.

Re: Oh dear, but not unexpected.
I shall only start to panic if this slide continues when players start to return. Until then I see this as a bit of damage limitation sort of phase.
Please note Northampton are below us and we are a mere 3 points off 6th place.

Re: RWC injuries
Would like to see Doran Jones called up as cover personally. Able scrummager, although not the best, but is mobile for a prop and certainly more mobile than Payne, although most are.

Re: "Let us make defence our obsession"
I agree completely and thought exactly the same when I heard it. It certainly is something that Tigers need to work on. It showed in the Wasps vs. Sarries game that the way to beat Saffacens is with a solid defence meaning they can't get over the gain line.

Re: Camilo Parilli-Ocampo
Just last week during the warm up game of touch having just done a shocking pass and having no one near me I went to put my foot down and I rolled my ankle quite badly and collapsed to the floor. Result is ligament damage in my ankle and a possible rupture in one. Could've happened whilst walking do...

From what I could gather this morning it will also be shown live on Sky Sports News, with coverage and analysis of other squads from the home nation teams starting at 7. Might not be correct though.

Thrilled for Geordan on a personal level, however it cannot go without saying that this is a blow for Tigers as his experience would have been vital.

Re: Leicester v Lyon
Do we think that the outstanding performances are merely due to the seemingly weaker opposition, or just a better individual performance? It appears there has been a sharp change in performance standard from last week's game.
Also what was the starting line up?

Re: A Guide To The Rugby World Cup
Rugby World had a pool by pool guide magazine which came free with the main magazine, it's not too bad with a feature on the captain, coach and team as a whole. However they've been running for quite a while so I doubt you would be able to get hold of them now. If not I'd try the tabloid's nearer to...

Re: England Team News v Wales 06th August 2011
A strong team from England and it will be incredibly interesting to be playing against a strong Welsh team. Will be interesting to see how the likes of Corbiserio, Shaw, Armitage and Flutey play partly because they are seen by many as fringe players but are playing in positions were a place on the p...

Re: England
It would be nice to think that Cockers might, at some stage, give Hawkins and Youngsy a chance rather than just blindly picking Chuter for every game. It would be very sad to think that Youngsy has worked so hard proving himself and learning his new position at Nottingham just to be left to languis...
