Re: Leicester v Bordeaux (H) - 22nd January 2022 - 15:15

Some suggestion on the unoffy that Bordeaux are now qualified with Cardiff getting 28-0 win over Toulouse. So may influence how strongly they protest to play the game?!

Re: European rugby 2021/22 - round 1

Why does TMO reply not have sound? If it did - Ulster try was a no score?! If you're talking about the second one for Ulster then Barnes had his arm out but didn't blow the whistle until after the ball was grounded. Play to the whistle and all that Replays showed a 2 second difference between whist...

Genge to stay until World Cup -possible extension to contract then see what options are would be my guess.

Re: Bordeaux away

Agree that there looks to be a rest period for England players, will share RB concerns if Genge not rested for next game as think it is just sensible rotation of a squad. And old school pragmatism of send a rotated but competitive team away and rest others for home games. Safe trip to all going and ...

Think may be to do with line out caller - think Snyman and Green have that role but not sure if Wells does. Traditionally more a 5 than 4 role.

Re: Leicester Tigers best uncapped XV

Think Liley went on a tour which wasn't awarded test status. Aadel Kardooni, Jez Harris and Glenn Gelderbloom are othe possibilities in the backs. Matt Poole in with a shout for second row- another who toured with England but not capped.

Re: Greatest ever Tigers XV

It is so difficult to compare players even from the same era - for example Greenwood and Gelderbloom. Will won two Premiership medals, Gelderbloom the same but also had two HC winners medals. Will then went on to get a World Cup winners medal with Quins - so who was the better player for Tigers? I s...

Re: George Ford

To be fair Smith has won something whilst Cips has not (as I recall). He has added to his team where Cips seems to need the team to follow him. That may well be that Quins and Smith have mutually develop around each other’s style to provide great entertainment with a little more steel at the core t...

Re: THIS WEEKENDS RUGBY - 02-04th JULY 2021 - MATCH THREAD

Apart from the Steward tackle in the air, USA player wafts one arm around in hopeful search of the ball whilst the other is clamped on Stewards collar - classic NFL sack style. But happy if thattackle is now a rugby incident as long as the same rules are applied in the Premiership :smt005 :smt005 :s...
