Nathan Hughes plays for the Black Rams where Hewat is coming from. He may not be a perfect player but he can get over the gain line. Tigers could really do with more forwards who can do that. I’d take Amato Fakatava.. big ball carrier who can play 5 and 8 who impressed at the RWC last year. https:/...

I think Shillcock is much better at 15. He's a capable 10 but looks better with that bit more time on the ball. Similar to Furbank really. He was good there against Quins and Leinster. Then had a stinker last weekend. Plenty of this squad have had stinkers this season though. Some have had a year o...

We have conceded 334 points thus far which is the lowest in the league. Saracens are close behind with 335. Our points scored is where our PD falls downLeicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 7:21 pm Am I right in thinking we’ve statistically had the best defence this season?

Shillcock is a pretty good player, but he isn't good enough to be a starter in a side looking to challenge for the biggest honours, the 22 shirt is his best position. Completely agree. And while Brown has been fantastic for us and you can’t question his commitment, he’s not a regular starting 15 ei...

It's been done to death, but I think Steward's ceiling is higher at centre. He is on the slow side for an international fullback and doesn't have the playmaking skills of many modern 15s. Fullback at the top level is increasingly the domain of players with the kicking and distribution skills of a f...

Time to try players in roles where they might be needed next season for my money. I'm thinking: - Ilione at 7. We direly need a jackal threat when Tommy isn't playing. - Cracknell at 6. It was his best position at LI where he was well suited to back rows with multiple all-rounders rather than stand...

Top 8 into Champions Cup. We are 12 points ahead of Glos with 3 to play. Glos have home fixtures against Exeter and Newcastle and an away trip to Saints remaining. Can’t see them getting much against Saints and Exeter. So on that basis we should remain in the top 8 regardless of our results. Glos a...

….and for Healey to question if he’s going fast enough is just inaccurate and frankly, wrong. I see on social media everyone is now questioning OHC - funny that - well done Austin. To be fair, it didn't need (Mr Healy) to realise that he is not playing as well or running as quickly as he did previo...

I still struggle with why we play our best full back on the wing and an international wing in the centre.... Kata has mostly played in the centre and is IMHO a better centre than a wing. I think he only plays on the wing for Tonga as they have other options in the centre. As for Steward, I tend to ...
