Ah, there it is. Wayne’s little raincloud.
Rain washes away the dirt...
But people generally don’t mind being a little dirty if the sun is shining.. being wet is far less enjoyable! :smt002

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back

Lock that's been playing 6 for us. Mobile enough for both. Good point on Simmonds. He could be handy fullback cover as well if Steward starts getting England recognition. I would like to see Martin and Henderson getting a bit more time at lock as they could be really good options. Especially with a...

Isn't Martin a second row? Lock that's been playing 6 for us. Mobile enough for both. Good point on Simmonds. He could be handy fullback cover as well if Steward starts getting England recognition. Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021

I think Moroni and Lavanini are our "overseas" players arent they? It's believed that Lavannini may have an Italian passport (why him, Montoya & Moroni have played together this season) however we do not know for sure which of the 3 it is that has a passport making them "not" overseas. would there ...

Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021

Pretty much as expected team wise with the exception of Montoya who will be a big loss and George Martin who perhaps hasn't been released by England

I would urge people to look up Sanaila Waqa's try in the top league this weekend, he'd be a great project 2nd row
That was a sight to behold!
Looks like the PE teacher running around with the ball being chased by the kids.. the guy is huge! Oh what a signing he would be!

Re: Our best players of 2021

Definitely wouldn’t have Brink ahead of Liebenberg. As it’s only talking about 2021 I’d say Montoya would be right up there. Tight call but I’d go: 5. Brink 4. Steward 3. Liebenberg 2. Montoya 1. Wiese *edit - just checked your choice TFS and realised I’ve chosen exactly the same! So I guess based o...

Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021

https://twitter.com/tigerslive/status/1367107568955457537?s=19 According to this from the Mercury, Martin may be allowed to play for us this weekend. Hope he does. Irish are a team who are bang on form and very dangerous, so I want all our top players that we can get our hands on. Exactly, a backro...

Re: PREMIERSHIP ROUND 12

Sale v Newcastle could be a good un. Wasps v Gloucester the battle of two largely out of form teams. Quins v Saints should provide good entertainment. Two very watchable teams right now. Wasps vs Glos will be a hard one to call. Depends which side turns up I guess. Wasps have conceded 50 penalties ...

Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021

The 'season so far' head to head stats on the premiership website make interesting reading for this match. https://www.premiershiprugby.com/overview/?FixGuid=20LL0947#overview Pretty even in terms of points, tries & penalties but the big differences for me are the metres made, carries and passing st...

Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021

I have thought the same for a while! No other teams seem to be heavily rotating and seem to play similar sides each week. Borthwick should be aiming to win every game and not just target home games by playing a stronger side. We will see what kind of team is put out away at sandy park in a few week...
