Re: Putting attendance in perspective

I wouldn't get too excited about it, great that that many people came, but how many got free tickets? Every single kid on the tigers courses this summer got a free ticket at the least.

Re: Nottingham v Leicester

It's deffinately a walk from the station, a mile tops!! Sadly can't go because i've got a pre-season match myself, but really hoping Notts can get a big crowd, think the biggest attendance they've ever had was Tigers a couple of pre-seasons ago, so hopefully!

Re: Extra Calcutta Cup matches from 2011

Seems a bit confused to be honest. There will be an extra calcutta cup match IN 2011, due to the world cup groups, but what really is the point of having a meaningless one outside a competition window? Plus, if only the 6n result decides who gets the cup, then it's not a calcutta cup match surely??!...

Re: Nottingham RUFC could be homeless!

As far as I understand it's due to the new owners, who believe that Nottingham Rugby is no longer possess a viable finacial benefit to the football club, despite Nottingham Rugby giving £50,000 a few years ago, cheers Munto Finance! Speaking with friends in the team, Nottingham Rugby have a contract...

Re: Future England Captain

As great a player as Croft is, and he has been magnificent in recent months, as a leader and a captain I haven't seen anything to justify him being appointed. Great player, but don't think the extras come naturally to him, just let him get on with his own game.

Re: Have we wasted £60m?

Whilst some of the above grounds do look horrific at this stage in the season, I think it's worth pointing out that Meadow Lane, which is Nottingham rugby and Notts County's home ground, has a pretty impressive looking pitch, credit to the groundsmen from both clubs there.

Saw him play for Nottingham last night, and he actually had a really poor game. I am actually a fan of his and have been impressed when i've seen him play for Tigers, but yesterday he wasn't anywhere near the top of his game. Didn't make one line break or really have a massive impact in attack, and ...

I don't know if Nottingham actually wants a rugby club, that seems to be a problem for getting more fans to watch games. It would be a real, real shame to see them go, but I honestly have no idea where that money is going to come from.
