Re: Season Tickets

I’ve always been in the Crumbie and I love it. When we were offered the chance to move to the new stand, I thought about it but then I thought Hmm, faces south, sun in your face in the early and late season, unless you sit well back. Crumbie for me every time. And think of the history - the stand is...

Re: World rugby grounds

I know it’s not actually the ground but the Allianz is so difficult to get to. And the food when I went was diabolical. Beyond awful. And the toilets - don’t get me started, but then I’m female and the loos are always dire. again, it’s not the ground but it is all part of the experience of visiting ...

Re: Simon Cohen leaves with immediate effect

Wow! I’m amazed and pleased. Congratulations to Andrea - so now the top four positions in Europe are held by women (Angela Merkel, Ursula von der Layen, Christine Langrange and now Andrea). In case anyone gets the wrong idea, that is a joke. Well, partly.

Re: In Case We forget ...Happy Easter

I’ve just had a phone call from Sarah at Tigers. I had seen on the web site that they would phone some season ticket holders to check we were ok and then I got this call. Brilliant. We had quite a long chat and I have to say it brightened my day. Thanks Sarah and thanks Tigers, caring for your STHs....

Peregrines

In case you’d missed it, there are peregrine falcons nesting on top of Leicester Cathedral and you can follow progress on www.leicesterperegrines.org.uk It is strangely addictive even though precious little happens at the moment. In fact, so little happens that you might think the camera has gone wr...

Re: Ticket Refunds

Agree, Old Hob. This time will be difficult enough for the club and I paid for my ticket anyway. If I’d gone away or been ill I wouldn’t have used it unless I transferred it, so the money is gone and I’m fine with that. I’ll do whatever little I can to help MY club

I remember there was some sort of fund raising for him the day we played Wuss. Great news to read he is progressing well.

Re: Blaine Scully Retires

Agree with all the comments. Super player to watch, always up for it and could sprint, making what might have been a hopeless cause look pretty good. I liked his line out throw ins in the 7s as well! Good luck for your future, Blaine.

Another good thing about this afternoon - no stupid marriage proposal at half time.

Loved there big boot with the people moving so far to the left ( as I viewed it)

Re: RFU halves Championship funding.

Very interesting interview with London Scottish rep this evening on Radio 5. They are hacked off that this has come so soon before next season with players being signed and arrangements made already (of course). they will have to go with part time players next year, and lose several training staff, ...
