Re: When the world cup is done and dusted

https://www.rnz.co.nz/international/pacific-news/397498/sport-tonga-to-finalise-rugby-world-cup-squad-this-week Sounds, unsurprisingly, like Kalamafoni and Veainu will be in the Tonga squad. Toutai Kefu said the trio are all close to a return and will be included in the final squad for Japan if they...

Interesting that they look at the various social media platforms through Sam 'Bondi' Williamson. Now - what's his 'handle' on here, I wonder?
Don’t need one to read a public forum, can just read anonymously like I do most of the time!

Re: Podcast with Simon Cohen

Agreed. Collective fans objective for rest of season should be to be generally decent enough that SC’s wife returns to watch games at WR.

Re: League table

Except you can hardly call him “lucky”, he planned it like this; MOC said after we lost Blaze that he would prioritise the right candidate over available ones for forwards coach. He knew that may take time but wanted the right man in. Since he brought what he thought was the right man in, the forwar...

GP itself against GP Finals!? (....well, not quite)

Last night, presumably before it was edited, the official GP match report said this: "The final proved a total anti-climax - proof, perhaps, that a league season of 22 games should be sufficient to decide England's champions ." I thought a few of you may like that! I imagine they have now ...

Interesting, but has he watched us lately?

Re: Matt Stevens get 2 year ban

Seeing as he has just left Bath, we should sign him immediatly. I don't care about his habits, we can judge him on performance. Can you imagine what 2 years of frustration in the gym will lead to? I imagine a top class prop forward at the prime of his career ready to go again and prove all the doubt...

Alas, mine also shrunk even though washed at 30. More to the point though, has anyone else got what can only be described as a plastic bag in between the shirt and the top sponsorship on the back? Whenever I move it makes a crinkling sound!

I contend your final point vehemently. If there is parity between the top 3 of N1 and bottom 3 of the Prem than that for me is exactly when support for play-offs should be completely thrown out (at the bottom end of Prem). Reason being that if there is parity then some should stay up, some down and ...

Bill, involving the bottom clubs in the Prem and N1 clubs in a play-off would almost completely kill the concept of promotion and relegation. We all know that after a year of Prem funding a bottom Prem club will be far superior to a top N1 team. If a team wins N1 (be that after a play-off or in the ...

Bit late on this one but: I can confirm that the guy in the Tiger costume had a great evening - caught up with his lot at the wine festival afterwards and he was dancing the night away in front of a band - some good moves, plenty more attention and adoration from bemused Italians. Pinot, a mate and ...

Apologies.

Turns out I was actually wrong on both counts - Mauger doesn't seem to play for them anymore either. Obviouslly I trust wikipedia too much.

Not just Fraser Walters that plays for them that we should know - also Will Johnson... Also, from Wikipedia (to my suprise) they also have a certain Nathan Mauger. Who happens to be Aaron's brother. He plays centre, so I imagine that'll be a nice match up! He's played twice for ABs but not in tests....
