Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

https://westernforce.rugby/news/force-complete-deal-for-international-hooker-nic-dolly-2024418 Nic Dolly officially confirmed (again) to Western Force. As he joins Carter and Potter back in bis homeland. Sounds like a good move for Nic. Sorry to see him go, but going home to a place with familiar f...

Re: TV Deal for Season 2024/2025

Something I haven't seen mentioned is the quality of the TNT pictures. I'm not an expert, but a sort of pixelation occurs and the overall resolution reminds me of the low quality European football matches on Sports Night in the 70s from places like Sparta Prague or Shakhtar Donetsk (older viewers ma...

Re: Next seasons season ticket

I'm struggling to work out what exactly the pricing is here. Ive tried to read through the board, but suspect Im not alone in being a little confused. I think for my adult terrace ticket; > I paid £260 last year (I've checked my direct debits) > The same ticket this year is probably £360 +£5 admin f...

Re: Saudi Arabia in talks to buy stake in Tigers

Im not funding 4 clubs will benefit the game - clearly it will for the 4 involved. Whilst highly unlikely, it would be better if the funding could be shared across the top two divisions, perhaps in exchange for naming rights to the leagues and a shared academy structure in Saudi - including women's ...

Re: Tigers v Leinster (H) - Champions Cup - Saturday 20th January 2024 - KO: 3-15pm

We played France last week, Ireland this week. I can't see a win and quite honestly would rather be out than be in the challenge Cup. Europe, or what ever it is with the SA sides in, has lost its appeal. I understand your point. I imagine the players would like to be competing in as many competitio...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

Wouldn’t want Matt Scott to leave. He’s a good player and has a positive effect on those around him. Agreed. He makes a significant difference when he plays and whilst we have 4 very capable centres (Scott, Kelly, Kata, Porter), we have seen thsi year you are only 2 x absences away from being threa...

Re: Return of Champions Cup - Tigers v Stormers - Sunday 10th December 2023

Did anyone else suspect there may have been an issue with the ball?
We were particularly bad, but they dropped a few as well. When catching high balls, both teams had to reset late when it didn't make the expected distance. Plus a few wonky lineout throws?

That was so unexpected. I had no idea despite watching him week in and week out. Tough to hear that he really didn't like Rugby.

Ah, makes sense, I was watching with the sound off as I had people round and so only remembered that the bunker was being used when i saw the Farrell upgrade.
Does every yellow get a bunker review, or only if the ref asks for it?

Re: One year ago 18 June 2022

Cozza had the right idea re Dayglo. I suspect I know, but please elaborate? I have a memory of Dayglo being on breakfast TV when we already knew he would be rested, and he said something like", its goof for players like me or Corry to be rested". At the time, he thought he would get the c...
