Re: Borthwick

Still ironing out details, but borthwick will be head coach under GM as DoR in the very near future - just finalising details of his release from RFU........ Good news and bad news then. Good news that Borthwick is coming in. Not such good news that GM remains as DOR, I really can't see what he has...

Re: London Irish vs Tigers

I've got a feeling that even if Sarries were to get a 35 point penalty, they'd still finish above us. We're the absolute pits right now.

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

Interesting response to Saracens from the Glaws fans. More or less total silence as they walked on to the pitch.

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

It smacks of sheer arrogance (not to mention stupidity) that they signed Elliot Daly whilst being investigated.

Re: Leicester vs Saracens

If Geordan Murphy wasn't Geordan Murphy, he'd have been fired ages ago. Think the club has to be sold and a new board before anyone realises where the issue is. Waiting for the same platitudes from Geordan after another display he ought to be ashamed off. Let's hope this happens before we become a ...

Relegation fodder at this rate. Men against boys.
Yes, recent recruits have added little to nothing and check out the team's body language. Quite simply a poor team. Murphs won't have long to go now. :smt009

Re: Leicester vs Saracens

I really hope the Steve Borthwick rumours are true. Boy do we need some decent coaching. The current set is so inept it's laughable. We badly need some impetus.

Re: Premiership Round 1 - Worcester vs Tigers

I went to the game yesterday and we were desperately poor. You can say what you want about injuries but there was little cohesion, no clear game plan and the defence somehow looked worse than it did last season. Worcester were poor too. This is going to be a long hard season. I don't see a weaker si...

Re: England v Australia and other Quarters

I really feel sorry for George - what more does he have to do?

Slade, fine player though he is, has played less than 40 mins rugby in 6 months.

Re: Typhoon on it’s way

While the scale of this typhoon is unprecedented, it doesn't look great for rugby does it? I can't think of another global tournament in a major sport that has had to cancel fixtures due to the weather. It just doesn't happen. To lose a high profile fixture like England v France is a major blow to t...

England have most certainly benefited by playing through Ford and not Farrell in this half.
